Canyons of the Escalante Map [Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument] (National Geographic Trails Illustrated Map, 710)

I've been using the Trails Illustrated maps for years and I find they are not only highly accurate, but durable and resilient as well. If you need a backup to your phone or GPS (which you definitely should), these are the maps to grab!

This map is of good quality and durability, but very few trails are marked on the map, and the only markings are the trailheads, not the actual trail routes. Disappointing, as it was purchased as a hard copy backup to electronic mapping apps.

I love that this map is water resistant and wrinkle proof. It feels strong and perfect for an outdoor gal like myself.

Great quality and easy to fold. I love that it's weather proof. So far it has taken me to all the correct places.

Excellent quality map

Do not... I repeat:Do not attempt to hike back out Coyote Gulch with kids. We read multiple Rticles and watched many YouTube videos that swore hiking I and out of Coyote Gulch was doable.... I would like to shout a BIG he!! NO to the rubbish!!! My 5 year old was begging to be dragged and/or carried out of the sandy/steep/devilishly HOT canyon. The hole in the rock... Count my little dudes out.. They were scared to death and ultimately bribed with many promises of sugar treats and artificial sweeteners. Save the drama/hellerific hike until your kids can hike out a different section of the gulch. Heed my warnings, oh parents of children of the corn. lol.

Great companion to any trail guide of available hikes in Grand Staircase of the Escalante.This travel map is meant to accompany you on your hike. The paper stock is high quality and water repellant and thus won't be worse for the wear in your knapsack or backpack.I used it as a general planning guide to try and get a terrain view of the hikes my son and I wanted to pursue during a recent trip. The map serves its purpose.

Also dir Karte ist solala. 1. es ist nicht das gesamte Gebiet drauf und es gibt anscheindend auch keine Karte die das abbildet. War ziemlich enttäuscht.Ich würde sie nicht nochmal kaufen, weil sie nicht das bringt was ich dachte.
