This leash is a game-changer. I have a very enthusiastic 70+ pound puppy who wants to greet everyone on the trail when we walk. Having the lower handle readily available to pull him up has been the best tool I've found so far. It's within perfect reach to easily grab and pull him to my side and keep him there. I broke a finger from another leash that got twisted around my hand when I was trying to reign him in, so finding this double handle has made our walks so much safer. I also want to say that walking a big dog with a broken finger is tricky and the nice padding on these handles is very much appreciated for comfort.

Bought this leash for our new rescue dog. He's a good boy but being a rescue needs some leash work. This leash is strong and durable but also comfortable to hold. I love the two handles. Makes the training process easier. Our dog is a medium size Irish wolfhound mix. For reference he weighs about 35 lbs right now but is definitely under weight from life in the streets and in the shelter. The leash is the perfect size for him. The poo bag is a nice bonus.

If you us a front clip harness and have a large dog this is a great leash. For our 40lb poodle puppy the leash handle is in the perfect spot for no tension on the leash if he is heeling very close with a front clip harness, it should work well as he gets older and provide a little more freedom as he grows. If you are back clipping or using with a collar it could probably fit down to 20 or so pounds but it does depend on how close you want your dog to heel . Our pup will grow to about 70lbs and I think it will be fine but will allow a slightly more free heel. would not work well for a dog under 30lbs front clipping unless you don’t care to use the second handle. The handle padding is really comfortable, if our dog did try to bolt for some reason it would not be uncomfortable to hold on to the the second handle; it is comfortable and provides more security and control. The leash feels strong but it is still thin in the non-padded areas, so it is lightweight and doesn’t add weight or the illusion of tension on the leash for the dog. The dog bag dispenser fits the rolls of bags we already have, and while there is no rod to hold them, it still works great because the dispensing hole is a “star” cut. Bags are easy to pull out but never fall out or get pulled out brushing against your leg like our plastic ones with the rod do, you do have to actually pull them out. I got the aqua one, it is nice looking and although it doesn’t match our teal harness perfectly it still looks nice and like a quality leash. I’ve only had it a week so I can’t speak to the durability.

Like the leash, as does our young dog but somebody in this house (not me) does not enforce the Don’t Chew on the Dang leash. The dog do do pouch is there for a reason (keep it stocked with #2 bags … husband) Grrr. Metal hooks to her collar are great but dang I’d have to give it a 4 as now I have to repair the leash as our dog is a chewer.

The leash is well made, the padded hand holds (@ the end and traffic lead length) are very comfortable. The poop bag dispenser is well made and can hold a second roll of bags. I have 2 German Shepherds (13 yrs/50 lbs & 3 yrs/109 lbs). This leash is great for my little GSD but I don’t trust it for my big one. The leash does ‘give’/stretched when she’s lurched after a squirrel I was afraid it was going to snap. I have gone back to using my Hamilton brand 1” European lead for my 100+ pound petite little flower that is sturdier.

Very Durable! Love this leash. After a long search for a Kong doupe I finally found one and it’s ever better. Love that it came with a matching poop bag dispenser. Great purchase!

This is hands down my favorite leash. I have a Goldendoodle who is a chewer. He goes through leashes faster than anything I have ever seen. This leash has lasted longer than any. It is very comfortable and I love the added waste removal bag holder near the handle. Having a second handle to hold higher up on the leash is amazing! Other leashes have cut my hands up when my dog got going. This one is soft on my hands and I am able to stay out longer and enjoy my pooch.

This is just as described, very sturdy and well made. Plus the poop bag holder is a nice bonus

I love this leash! The double handles are nicely padded and comfortable. I would only change the placement of the lower handle. It would be better if it was a bit higher. I sometimes wonder if this kind of product is actually used by a true owner over time. Overall i would recommend.
