Great winch!
Very good quality winch. Same bolt pattern as the old ugly winch I had. Looks great and is very smooth. Highly recommended

Doesn't Fit And Doesn't Include Mounting Hardware
I was replacing a Fulton winch with this newer model Fulton winch. The bolt pattern on this winch doesn't fit all boat trailers. It didn't fit mine. I have a Load Rite boat trailer and the bolt pattern is so far off that I would have to drill two mounting holes to make this winch fit. In addition, BE WARNED that this winch DOES NOT INCLUDE any mounting bolts, nuts or washers, so be prepared to salvage your old, rusted mounting bolts, nuts and washers or you will have to go to the hardware store to buy new mounting hardware for this winch. You would think that for $100 plus, Fulton could include three bolts, nuts and washers, but nope. Think twice before buying this particular Fulton model boat winch.

The first Fulton I haven't loved
Hardware to install the winch to the trailer is not included. There is no easy way to change the orientation of the strap. It is installed to come off the top of the roller, and I need it to go off the bottom. Tried to take it apart, but it isn't just an easy way to do it. I rolled it all the way out, and then back the other way, but then the crank is turning the wrong way.I've had good luck with Fulton in the past. Not sure what is up with this one.

Replacement Boat Trailer Winch
I had to replace a Fulton original equipment on my boat trailer. I bought the same brand thinking that it would perhaps fit the same mounting holes in the trailer as the old winch. Well, it didn't, so I had to ream out the metal of the winch mounting base to fit the holes already drilled in my trailer. Other than this problem, I thought this replacement winch was engineered much heavier than the original one.
