ViewSonic VX3218-PC-MHD 32 Inch Curved 1080p 1ms 180Hz Gaming Monitor with FreeSync Premium, Eye Care, HDMI and Display Port

I got this right after i got their higher quality 32" monitor, but aside from the higher resolution and the metal frame of the other, I prefer this one in EVERY way! Its less of a strain on my GPU, its color feels better to my eyes, its lighter, and so less strain on the wall mount, and on the adjustments that hold it level and at the right height, the resolution is great, 2k is perfect IMHO. It's just a phenomenal display. Only thing I'd improve is the speakers. They are definitely lacking, but do the job if you don't expect high quality. Oh yeah, the curved screen is very nice on the eyes.

ViewSonic is a longtime brand in the PC World and I bought it largely on the brand name's past. A 4 star opinion "should" say "it meets my needs". I think a 5 star review "should" say of the product that "it EXCEEDS" my expectations, in this case few products meet my 5 star bar and a four star review is fair for this one, here's why. THE GOOD Large enough for most uses, sharp text, one Display Port or DP (not available on many other brands) and two HDMI inputs make it usable on many current and legacy computers, as well as game consoles and DVD players etc. Plus it has brightness to spare and it's fairly priced. The "V" shaped foot of the mount covers only the space needed to make the stand sturdy leaving space under it for desk doodads. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE WEIRD The color point was NOT adjustable to give a pure white color driven from my from my HP workstation's internal DP port no way, no how at any brightness (even the obscenely high initial power on settings) where my last monitor had no such issues. This is curious because the monitor's self driven screens and menus ARE a bright white! So to further debug it I installed my ATI Radeon 540 video card with a DP output and voila! it's like my whites jumped out from the screen like I used whitening toothpaste on it! This goes to show that what you see may not be what is possible and 100% confidence in the PC brand may not be warranted! Minus 1 star for HP's internal DP color translation table :-) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE NOT SO GOOD (but not BAD) When first turned on the brightness and contrast were BOTH set at at the factory at 100%! I can't imagine anyone needing or wanting to be blasted with a screen so bright. To make matters worse in a quest to make the screen as borderless as possible the controls are vertically arranged in the rear necessitating adjustment in the blind and by feel only.

I got a new mini-PC that had the capability to mount to VESA attach points on a monitor. Many monitors have VESA attach points that can't be used if you have the regular stand attached, but not this one. I was able to mount the mini-PC on simply and end up with a 'sort of' All-in-One type computer/monitor unit. The speakers in the monitor are nearly useless - you will want a sound bar or other external speaker arrangement. The picture quality is outstanding. ViewSonic has been doing good monitors for decades, and it shows in this unit. It's very enjoyable to use this PC/monitor arrangement.

This is the first monitor that I have not even looked at the color settings. Its already perfect! Using it for 95% work and hopefully as much as 5% gaming. 2k monitors is really the sweet spot! Works with Kali Linux + Gnome and also Windows 11. This is first review in a long time, so do yourself a favor and stop researching. You won't be disappointed. Oh the speakers are trash, trash! lol. I guess they put the money in the display and refresh rate. That's fine with me for the price. I've locked mine at 120Hz since higher uses more electricity, and also it's not good to run anything at max. It does 120Hz easily. Im 40+ and this has been heaven sent for my eyes.

Monitor de Juegos Curvado de 32 Pulgadas a muy buen precio me gusto su gama de colores y su menú que trae muchas opciones de configuración para ajustar a tu gusto el brillo y otras cosas para que no se te canse la vista la verdad si me sorprendió el precio muy económico y buena calidad la de View Sonic ya lo probé con los juegos que tengo y se ve genial Con NASCAR 15, FORZA HORIZON 5 espectacular, lo recomiendo y llego antes de lo esperado sin contratiempos y en buen estado por la paquetería.

Je suis très satisfait de cet écran gaming ! 🎮 Branché sur ma PS5, la qualité d’image est impeccable, que ce soit pour les FPS, les jeux d’action ou même les jeux plus narratifs. La taille de 27" est largement suffisante et l’écran incurvé apporte un vrai confort visuel. Petit bémol : le son n’est pas incroyable, mais avec une enceinte connectée, c’est parfait. Niveau rapport qualité-prix, difficile de faire mieux ! Après plusieurs comparaisons, j’ai choisi ce modèle et je ne regrette pas du tout. 👌
