Cannot tell if the light inside of this thing, work. It really hard to tell if it work. It does not dry your knife, like it say it do

Doesn't Work
I chose this to replace my old Chi knife sanitizer. This one doesn't work at all. It turns on (lights up) but neither the fan nor the light turn on and it will not go into manual mode. Also, the package appeared to have been opened and taped back up. Was I sent a product which the seller knew didn't work? I'm disappointed and disgusted!

Nice design but
Unit's sanitizing features did not work, and was returned;account credited. Too bad, I liked the design because it fit my counter space and knife requirements.
