Clear Briwax Original Formula by Briwax

Put one layer on to try and restore dry looking wood. Worked pretty well, but due to the condition of the furniture, I felt another layer would be great.

I discovered Briwax while refinishing antique Victorian pine furniture in England almost fifty years ago and still use it today,not only around the house but in my second career as a decoy carver.I've found that nothing compares to Briwax in quickly establishing a glossy patina on the reproduction antique decoys that I make.I use both the clear wax and the colored version,the latter is perfect for recreating an antique look on my carvings.

I used this to refresh the older briwax finish on a coffee table and love being able to just apply it over the old finish.

Does everything one could ask of a furniture paste wax. Easy to apply and buff. It cleans and protects. Have used for a number of years but only tried the suggested use of applying with 0000 steel wool. Took my hand rails to the next level.

It's a great wood cleaner,however, I should have ordered a darker stain to cover the wear and tear.

This is REAL wax. It stinks to high heaven, requires a bit of practice and effort, but when you get it right, the results are beautiful.

Excellent finish for walking sticks I make.

Excellent product if you're cleaning up old finishes on an antique.
