DO NOT BUY
I detached the pieces from the mold ( takes a loooong time), I smoothed them using a file( exhausting), put them into their bags and then started building. I build three models. It is the worst toy I ever bought. Such a disappointment. No value for the money, not fun either as it does NOT work at all. Pieces are either loose or uneven. The “ solar panel” was broken. Straight to trash bin. Waste of money and time.

Very small items with difficult assembly guide
First, the items are very tiny, all of them were assembled in several panels from the factory which was very difficult to take them out,The assembly guide is unclear,Overall experience is not satisfactory.

Bringing a science experience home.
This toy engaged kids at home. They quickly got busy assembling it and marvelled at the beauty of this simple robot

My son is very interested in it
I had to work on this together with my son because some steps are difficult for a kid. But the instructions in the manual are nice and clear, which makes the task easier. We have together joined the pieces and made it into the Wall-E type character so far, and my son has a blast with it. He's already inquisitive about what other things he can make out of this. This is my son's first solar powered toy, so seeing him understand the concepts of solar energy transform into kinetic, robotics, assembling things together is rewarding.

Ton of fun
Really good kit of kids and adults to have fun. My son and I spent lots of hrs during winter break to assemble different bots. Easy to assemble but some of the connectors are not very strong. I already broke 2-3 connectors. Everything is plastic but strong except couple of blue connectors. Pictures in product description are deceptive since the size of each bot is tiny. But it is still lots of fun.

Great Customer Service
Update:I'm changing my rating to 4 stars because the company was very responsive and apologetic for my experience. They 100% stand behind their products and were disappointed to hear that my experience was less than acceptable. They offered a full refund or replacement. Customer service seems to be getting rarer and rarer, and this company stands out in a positive way!Original Review:If I could give this zero stars, I would. Worst piece of junk I've ever subjected myself and my kid to. Hardly any piece fits together right and once it is together, it doesn't stay together. No 'off' button for the robot so if you have battery in it, it just runs until it dies. It would have been really easy to add a switch to the kit. The pieces that are supposed to hold the wheels on do not grip strongly enough and they just fall off consistently. The solar panel does not fit in the head appropriately and keeps popping out. There are no tabs to connect the power wires to so you just have to wedge them in however you can to make it work. The boat section sits at a horrible angle. It was a really neat idea with very poor execution!
