Insulated Beer Growler 64oz, Double-Wall 2L Vacuum, Stainless Steel with Handle and Flip-Top

I'm a homebrewer and I keg my brews. I hate it when I fill a growler and by the time I get to the dinner party my beer has lost a whole lot of its chill. Then, to make things worse, the host places it either inside the fridge, where no one finds it or leaves it on the counter to warm up some more. This growler ain't an inexpensive product but you get what you pay for. The double walled insulated sides keep my beer COLD.I even tested it out by filling it with water and ice cubes and left it on the counter then measured the temperature every hour. After 6 hours the temperature didn't go up one bit. I stopped measuring after that. Why bother.I love it's funky design and many on Amazon don't have a handle for carrying or serving. It was taller than I expected, though. I just didn't look at the measurements.My wife bought this for me as a birthday present. I'm very happy..and a year older.

A nice medium duty growler. The stainless doesn't appear to be super high quality and the growler itself is single walled, so unfortunately it doesn't not insulate well so beer gets warm quickly. This growler is good for transporting liquid but you will want to have have refrigeration available. The top and latch are not the most sturdy, but get the job done.

Great LOOKING growler. On the whole, I like it, but after using it (just once) it seems to have an issue or two. The metal cap does not rotate freely to get out of the way for pouring. Pouring is kind of a two handed operation, so if you can't rest the bottom of the growler on something, and pour into a glass, tilted on it's side, you're going to get a HUMONGOUS head of foam. Also, it might be nice if the maker had included a new rubber gasket with it. It seems to be specific to this bottle. So far, so good on the one it came equipped with, but it's doubtful that it will live forever, and it would be nice to have a spare. And possibly a related issue, but when this growler was full, it leaked a little. It doesn't seem able to hold the full pressure of the beer in it, though when I released the cap to pour a glass, there was definitely a distinct PSHTTT of gas being released. I didn't test to see how long the beer would retain freshness, as a growler of beer seldom lasts me over a day, and for that length of time it was fine.

Just filled it with a rare very expensive beer and figured out after it was full that there is a little tiny microscopic hole in the side near the bottom. The only way you can see it is when the bubbles are coming out. If you buy this one make sure you really check it before actually using it so you don't ruin a leather bag, lose a bunch of beer and smell like a frat house too.

The growler is extremely difficult to open without losing your grip and spilling the contents. There are many other options out there with a better design, so I returned this.

I want to give this a 5star, however... I just received and started using, products need to hold up to long-term use. We will see.

LOVE IT!!!! The top seals great and it makes a beautiful "Pop" sound when you open it. Keeps the contents fresh for 4-5 days
