Lightweight and very easy to take on holidays, it does lose some stability on carpets and uneven ground, the locking nut which stops the tilt does work lose and needs to be reset.

I really like this monopod. It comes in a neoprene carry bag with drawstring and carry strap. It weighs considerably less than my manfrotto (see a comparison in the pics), but extends further by over 10cm to a total of 168cm. The joints are released by a twist mechanism and feel secure when locked.Out of the bag it comes with mini tripod feet with a simple but effective spring-clip mechanism to keep them either in place or locked. The legs are plastic but have rubberised feet for grip on smooth surfaces. I would be confident using it as a tripod if the monopod is not extended too far. If extended, the included screw on metal spike base or plastic coated metal base would be more suitable.The mount is reversible, meaning that you can mount your camera directly to the 3/8 inch thread or preferably, mount a ball and socket head using the 1/4 in thread. All in all, a great little monopod.

Useful on many levels. Walking stick, monopod, sort of tripod, pointing stick and mugging deterrent.

Solid construction. Excellent value. Don’t hesitate to buy. Well now take the place off my tripod on hikes.

I am no stranger to Tripods, but a Monopod is something I just didn’t have. After looking around, I found this one - a carbon fibre lightweight monopod that looked pretty awesome! When I opened it for the first time, I was blown away! Why hadn’t I bought one of these sooner?! It is absolutely stunning, functional, light and tough! I have been using it with my DJI Gimbal to get some “drone like” shots - and wow it performs flawlessly! Look at the pic to see me holding it, extended, to the sky! What a blast!!! Oh - and it even comes with three different bottoms (little legs, metal spike and a rubber foot) and a carrying case!No complaints at all, buy with confidence!

I've have struggled to find a tripod and have gotten a few that turn out to be sub-standard. I have had the Moman Tabletop Tripod for some eight months and its rock-solid very easy to use and will hold a heavy spotting scope with no problems at all. It is worth the money, so don't waste your time or money on anything else like I do before I bought this tripod.

Arrived well packaged. A good solid monopod.
