4 Stars - would recommend to anyone who loves shifter romance that is very very spicyWhen I tell you that each book I read in this series helps me to heal a small part of myself I am not exaggerating. These books delve into many complex issues that happen in real life relationships. As they work through them and make mistakes you learn with them.Child hood traumaDeath of a friendComplicated relationship dynamicHorrible familyThese are only 4 stars because i reserve 5 stars for books i can recommend to absolutely anyone. With the beautifully written but very graphic spice I cannot recommend for under 18. But this is one of my most favorite series ever!

Amazing, but just read it once.
My suggestion, but it on Kindle, read it once, then return for a refund. Also, don't bother with the other books in the series, they're all a carbon copy of this with different names. Teryn and Jamie (the lead in book 2) are nearly identical characters. I honestly couldn't tell the difference for most of the book.I first got ahold of this book when I was eighteen, and at the time, I loved it. It was hot, witty, full of good humor and a great plot. I loved it so much that I kept re-reading it as I went into college. Now, three years later, I find myself unable to get through it and for a very simple reason: all the characters act like rebellious teenagers, not something I noticed or cared about when I was a teenager myself.I'll start with a quick plot overview. In this world of werewolves, there is a concept called "true mates' (aka, soul mates). Teryn, the female lead, believed her childhood best friend to be her true mate, but he died when they were young. Now, her borderline abusive, Alpha father is forcing her into a political marriage to an abusive male from another pack. For some reason, she never tells anyone that he is abusive to her. Enter Trey, the male lead, who when he was a teenager challenged HIS Alpha father to a duel for the title and ended up killing him. Instead of taking his place as Alpha he was exiled, and only a few members of his pack left with him to form the Phoenix Pack (hence the name of the series). Now the Alpha from his home pack sees Trey's existence as a threat to his authority and wants to merge the two packs by force. Trey asks Teryn to pretend to be true mates with him, so Tray can use her father's vast alliances to help him win the war and Teryn is freed from her forced engagement. So far, amazing story. But from here is goes downhill.Pros fist.I LOVED Teryn and Trey's relationship. It was simultaneously hot and adorable, with both of them holding each other at arms length but slowly falling in love anyway. Both of them resisted, picked fights, but at the same time was there to help the other when they needed it. It was an amazing balance of roles, with neither asserting complete dominance over the other, which is all too common in romance novels. The evolution from a convenience and sex only relationship to one of hot, sexy and tender love was the reason I keep coming back to this book, despite the many flaws. This was, honestly, the only pro to the book, but one that earns it the 4 stars I gave it.Now for the cons, the reason I suggest you don't read this more than once and the reasons that killed this book for me.As mentioned before, despite all the characters being in their mid to late twenties, they all act like teenagers. No where is this more obvious than in Teryn's interactions with the rest of the new pack.Meet Selma, the obligatory "I hate you bitch because I want your man" rival. The very existence of this type of character makes no sense in this world, as it has been established that true mates are literally bonded to the soul, and they are stuck together forever. The fact that Selma goes through very petty and downright slutty arguments and actions in this book is nothing more than cringe worthy. She repeatedly dresses in a style Teryn refers to as 'barely a tissue,' and sounds like the stereotypical head cheerleader from a rom-com. Teryn's arguments with this character make up for a very large chunk of this book, for no reason seeing as every time this woman enters the scene it ends the same, with Selma stopping her foot and running off as Teryn does nothing but insult her. She makes no progress at all, not even to deepen the plot, which makes the MANY scenes here annoying. Once would make sense, but not the amount that was written. The same is said for Greta, Trey's grandmother, a cruel, terrible woman who hates all females because "none of them are good enough for 'her boys'" Again, a character who serves no purpose but to display Teryn's attitude. She is a truly horrid woman, who does nothing but insult Teryn and try to run her off, whose hard-set old ways blind to her anything else. Had the book shown positive interactions between Greta and the boys, I might forgive her existence. But we never see ANY interactions between her and anyone but Teryn. For some reason, the guys seem to think anyone who can't handle Greta don't deserve to be in the pack, despite the explicitly stated existence of submissive and dominant wolves. I feel sorry for the day one of 'her boys' mates to a submissive wolf, because that poor girl will be miserable in a pack where everyone allows this woman to terrorize the whole female population. And as with Selma, the MANY scenes with Greta all end the same, with Teryn winning the argument and Greta leaving in a huff. Now I use the word "argument" loosely. No kidding, about half of this book involved Teryn in an argument with one of the aforementioned females. But what really happens is either Selma or Greta start insulting and verbally assaulting Teryn, only for Teryn to insult them right back in an unconnected stream of back talk. Every word out of Teryn's mouth sounded like it was copy and pasted from an online insult generator, as they are petty, aloof, and unconnected to anything. She doesn't actually respond to anything the two women are saying, but runs off at the mouth like she's hot s*** for being able to say 'You keep talking but all I hear is s*** coming out of your mouth." Constantly. FOR HALF THE BOOK. This here is primarily what bothered me about this novel, as it was repetitive and annoying. The "strong female" persona is lost when she sounds like a brat, and even during my first read through, when I loved this book, I was rolling my eyes and skimming through the arguments. The guys presence in the book is minimal compared to these two, and since the pack orgy scene was removed (thank God, for that was truly awful), I don't have much to say about them, positive or negative. If you're like me, and keep returning to old books, scratch this off the list, because the more I read it, the more I hate it. The first time around I nearly gave it five stars, only knocking it to four because of MANY (as in, three per page) grammatical and spelling errors and the orgy scene, all of which have been edited. Now, I want to push for a two star review, and am leaving it at four because I know most of my issues aren't something I noticed the first time around.

5 Stars!
ATTENTION ALL V******* (and possibly some p*******): IF YOUR OWNER READS THIS BOOK YOU WILL TINGLE, YOU WILL PULSE AND YOU WILL BE SET ON FIRE!Just be thankful that I warned all of you. K.Taryn Warner is a latent wolf. She is also snarky, speaks before she thinks and doesn't take much s*** from those around her. Her dad is an a** and she is trying to find a way out of a forced mating. Enter Trey Coleman, alpha leader of his own pack. He has a bargain for Taryn. They are to pretend to "meet" and act as true mates, which would override the mating she is being forced to enter into by her father, and in return Taryn helps him get an alliance of his own. The deal is for three months. This was a deal where the mating bond would have no place. If your inner wolf and your over-hormonal body react rather enthusiastically to a psychotic alpha male who’s own wolf has a tendency to turn feral, it can’t be a good thing, can it?Trey Coleman had no idea what he signed up for when he made the deal with Taryn but a small sprite with enough sass and vinegar to leave others peeing their pants, was not it. Both Taryn and Trey immediately see that their attraction is unquestionable. They realize they got more than they bargained for. Their mating instincts to protect and possess are weighing on them, they crave each other’s touch and companionship, and their inner wolves don’t like it whenever they’re separated. He brushed her lips against hers. "Good girl. How's your wolf doing? Did she want you to fight me off when I marked you?"She shook her head. "She likes you."Trey smiled crookedly. "You say that like it makes her stupid."I loved Trey and Taryn together. Despite her horrible upbringing, Taryn is a confident heroine who is not going to let any alpha walk all over her. She is just the challenge that Trey needs. Taryn is the fun, hilarious, loyal and sexy she-wolf that Trey did not know he was missing from his life. I loved the fact that Trey had his own issues and was not always perfect. They both make mistakes along the way; however, it all works out in the end. Our couple gets their HEA and we as the reader finish with a deep sigh (or a cold shower). Just saying!"All I know is that I don't want you to leave. If you do I'll hunt you down and bring you back, Taryn, I s*** you not, I will. Not because of our deal or my wolf, but because I want you here with me."or"You just don't get it, do you? You have no idea how important you are to me. I need you to be okay, Taryn. I can't be without you, you have to be here and okay or I won't be able to f***** function."Does this sound like a male who would welcome group sex with his mate?NO!Like many other reviewers I read the first version of this book and I did have an issue with the group sex scene. Was it all hot and tingly? Well, yes! HOWEVER, it seemed so incongruous with the rest of the book that it totally bugged me. It simply was not something Trey would have allowed. He is an alpha-male. THEY DO NOT SHARE THEIR TOYS! Further, it was very out of character for Taryn as well. I mean she is an alpha female who makes her mate fight for it. How do you expect me to believe that she just gives it up to all those men? I almost took a star off my rating but I think the storyline is strong enough that this scene did not bother me too much.Overall, Wright has provided a pretty great read with Feral Sins. This is a book with a lot of humour, heart and an amazing cast of secondary characters. Could the book have used some further editing? Sure. I personally was not put off by this. I'll definitely be reading any further books in this series.

hilariously perfect
I wasnt 100% convinced I wanted to read the book lol. The summary intrigued me but I’m in a weird book overdose mood where I want and don’t want to read lol. I liked the cover’s colours and it weirdly convinced me that I shouldn’t wait to read it. Right away tho, I fell in love with our amazing alpha female. Her sarcasms made me laugh so hard and loud, it was ridiculous. I would have read a full book of just her and Greta interacting together. The story was interesting, the characters were awesome and again, the sarcasms and answered to comments, were simply the best. Glad to see there’s other books following the pack members. I Hope they will be as good as this book (even tho they aren’t as hilarious as our girl)

Amei demais!
Super recomendo!

A truly amazing story
Perfectly written with good plot development and character development. I love both the MCs and they make the best pair. This book kept me hooked from the start and the writing style of the author is just amazing. Looking forward to reading more.

Awesome shifter story o have listened to for the 8th time yet
Sassy and extremely strong albeit latent heroine and crazy alpha brooding hero with a whole bunch of characters set out to be loved or to be hated. I just love all about that book, that narration and the hint of more stories with more amazing shifters in it.
