Excellent as ever. Such a shame to lose him.

The end of the line for Hitch. This is a must read.
Anyone who had read Hitchens' other works must close off knowing this unparalleled life with his last words, and those of Carol Blue as well. Although this small book could be usefully read as a "stand-alone" (e.g., without having read any other Hitchens), its core value comes as a true "signing off" of the work and life of the author that IMHO ought to be known reasonably well and comprehensively beforehand.

Mortality Cometh - Face it
A no holds bar of being diagnosed with ‘death’ and yet one of the most intellectually astute writers and thinkers of modern times provides a last hurrah for the world. Mortality should be faced and prepared for as noted by Atul Gawande in his book Being Mortal.

Good but expected different
I read the book twice. It was a bit all over the place but I have to respect him for even managing to put a book together. Having been diagnosed with cancer over 2 years ago, I guess I was hoping for a read that was bit more raw, more revealing, more devastating. Perhaps a reader without cancer will view it differently.
