Works perfectly
I bought this carburetor and it runs great no issue with the truck no more turning of with the old carburetor. it stays on and the quality is great. Out of the box it comes already adjusted just to place it on the engine and start it.

Made my 390 come to life!
The media could not be loaded. Awesome!!! I put this on my 1965 Ford Galaxie with a 390. The motor is mildly built, bored, .495 comp cam, performance cast iron heads, performer 390 edelbrock intake,MSD ignition, shorty headers, and full 3 inch exhaust with flow masters. It should make good power, and it did just okay with a Holley 4150 I had on it. This Edelbrock carb made my motor come alive, it’s like a totally different car. Easy to install, and the tune right of the box worked so good I wouldn’t dare mess with it. Runs flawlessly with way more power and smoother than my Holley it replaced. The only adjustment I made was to tweak the idle screw just a little. I changed that only twice with minor adjustments to get it how I wanted it. You can not go wrong in buying this carb for probably any mildly built motor under 400 ci. It is not very often anymore I am this impressed with a product. You can not go wrong with this user friendly, made in The USA product. Thank you Edelbrock!

The right carb for the job!
I put this on a 1968 Ford Ranchero! I've tried 3 used ones before and had issues with them. I put this on and the car runs perfectly now. Only had to modify the linkage connection dues to it being an older car!I will never buy a used carb again, this is my go to carb from now on!

Bolted it on right out of the box and it worked (!). Installed on a 1973 318 with a 340 intake, 360 heads, 0.455 lift cam, and automatic 904 transmission.Good packaging, looks great, easy install, driven for about a week with no issues 👍🏼

Best of the best
Ive used holley’s in the past and nothing beats an edelbrock carb. Last carb i had was a edelbrock 1407. Downgraded to a 1405 600cfm. i have it on a chevy 454 and this thing woke it up. Old carb was 14 years old. Never rebuilt it. Never adjusted anything on it but the air/fuel screws and idle. I did exactly the same with this 1405. My truck is daily driven so i was trying to be more conservative on fuel. But this thing out performs the bigger 750 cfm carb. Bigger is not always better.
