An essential book to read regarding wealth management. Very useful information. Chapters 2-3 were a bit repatative, but other than that, the book really broaden my understanding to wealth managment as a ongoing process needed to be stressed tested to fit changing circumstances. I highly reccomend this book for any wealth owner, wealth mgmt professional or any person with some finance or accounting background, from student to recent grad such as myself.

Philip Marcovici knows exactly what he is talking about like no other. The market is full of books advising on wealth but most of them are way too narrow : either only financial, or only legal or pseudo psychological. Not to talk about the low quality books that are plentiful, made by people promising you to become rich fast (including a current President elect). Most miss one or the other dimension that are needed to understand what is at stake in preserving a family wealth : a good economic sense, a good experience in advising families, a good knowledge of international regulations, an excellent legal background. Marcovici has it all in one book. His amazing career certainly has helped him come with such useful advice. I highly recommend this book

Philip Marcovi's book is excellent and relates to the topics relevant to Families of Wealth. I have worked in this area for many years and Philip has relayed relevant information to families and people who work in this area. It is a must book

I would recommend this book to all families, and their advisers, there is a wealth of practical hand-son knowledge in this book.
