Review: Worked great Review: I did a conversion from a GM R4 pancake compressor to a Sanden style on my 1983 C10. The conversion went well and I had hoses manufactured for the conversion. I also had to buy a bracket assembly off desertcart to support the compressor. I did the conversion in Summer 2024 and has been running great for a year+ in GA heat. The compressor is quiet and seems to draw less HP that the OEM compressor. Good cooling. No problems a year+ later. I'm very satisfied with the purchase. P.S. I had purchased three R4 compressors over the past 5 years and all leaked at some point in time (within about a year) and that was the main reason for the Sanden conversion.
