Make sure it has at least a 65W adapter
Mine originally came with a 45w power adapter and as far as i can tell lenovo at minimum supplys a 65w adapter for these devices and if you buy it from them mandates a 135w adapter with ether a i7 cpu or if you add a pcie device even if its only the intel i350 network card that consumes 5w to me this makes it look like even the 65w is barly enough power and with a 35w cpu 10w for everything else is probably not enough (ram motherboard ssd usb ports (eg keyboard mouse) ect) however contacted the seller and they very proptly asked me to return the 45w and sent me a 65w adapter (tho i did have to pay for shipping), the only reasons im not docking a star for this is the excelent customer service and the that they sent me a i5 9500t not the i5 8400t so a better cpu which is worth the £3 shipping for the adapter, would defo buy again if i had the need

Perfect for my needs
I wanted a PC for development work, and I decided to go second-hand (I've done this in the past, so no qualms). Did my research (a lot of research!) as I wanted Windows 11 and this is the earliest core i5 that Windows 11 will accept for upgrading. The machine arrived with 8GB memory and 250GB M2 NVMe SSD.The connector strap for the SATA SSD is missing so I can't immediately add a SATA drive - but the cradle is present and at some stage I'll get around to sourcing one and adding the disk. I did however max out the M2 NVMe SSD drive accepted by this machine - added a 1TB Crucial SSD and also maxed out the memory - now 32GB of Crucial memory.Cloning the original disk to the new disk was straightforward using Macrium Reflect (I tried Acronis first as it's available through the Crucial site, but it hung for a few hours - a known issue - before I cancelled it). After installing the newly cloned disk, during the boot process it started doing a PXE boot looking for LAN drives before finally booting from the local drive. Simply remedied by disabling PXE in the BIOS.Very happy with my ThinkCentre purchase would recommend the supplier and the machine.

Excellent Machine
Generally the 1L ThinkCentre machines are brilliant but the processor on this takes it to another level. The condition of the PC despite being a refurbished model was first class. Just two minor gripes : (a) the clover leaf power cable supplied was of the fold over style which was not truly compatible with the (small) power brick so I bought a £4.99 replacement - so no big issue. (b) Whilst the installation of the machine was fully working/functional - the BIOS settings were I'd say somewhere between a stand alone home user set up and the original "corporate" config. I'd advise any buyer to triple check the config if intending to enable Secure Boot or make use of the TPM .... Otherwise you could end up with a corrupted UEFI partition. Apart from that - Excellent !

The description is not accurate.
My device does not have WLAN and Bluetooth mode. It's different from the description. Other things work fine for me.

I'd give 6 stars if I could
Arrived a day early and had a slightly better processor than advertised! On inspection it seemed like new, completely clean and no dust inside.

Great value for money
Needed a small pc to setup as a server, really good specification for the price and low powered as well.
