My favorite thread snips!
These are my ALL TIME FAVORITE Thread snips! They feel really good in the hand, and the blades stay sharp.I have used them to cut regular thread, as well as the thicker bonded nylon/polyester threads, and they don't skip a beat.Very good quality, and worth spending the extra few bucks on these.

Very sharp and easy to use
Very sharp and easy to cut thread, and it's nice for those with older hands

Works well
I ordered this thinking it would be nicer to hold and use. But all that plastic doesn't really do much and that goes for the finger loop as well. It's sharp and cuts threads nicely, and that's the purpose of these snippers. I will keep it.

Suited my needs just fine.
Ok as a disclaimer I know nothing about sowing or what the quality of thread scissors should actually be because I dont sow or do any kind of stitching. I purchased these scissors for one reason and one reason only. I needed to modify a leather pouch I have for my rifle which involved taking apart seems and cutting thread. Now that I have accomplished my task they will probably end up in my junk drawer never to be seen again. For this purpose they worked great. They were even strong and sharp enough to cut through some small pieces of leather I needed to trim. The scissors seem to be quality made. They are really sharp and fairly strong for a pair of scissors made for the sole purpose of cutting thread. They are also really comfortable to use, which surprised me because I have big hands and most small things like these scissors arent comfortable to use but there were.My only gripe with these scissors is I feel like they should have some sort of locking mechanism to keep them closed and some sort of sheath or guard for the tip of the blade. Like I said these things are sharp and the point on them is like a freaking needle. There should be something to guard against that point when you aren't using them. Otherwise they are great.

Quilting/Sewing Snips
Very pleased with my new pair of snips. They are getting quite a workout at a quilt retreat that I am attending. Sharp and very easy to use.

Not very sharp
Got this to replace an OLD similar squeeze scissors that I got from my mom. This one unfortunately does not have a “real” cover - just a small piece of clear plastic that fits the tips only & doesn’t connect to the scissors or have the ability to be on a string. The tips of the scissors are sharp but over all not sharp enough to trim a piece of fabric. They do threads fine but aren’t sharp.

Work great!!
These are great snippers. I have another of Sears snippers and they are actually 40 years old or even older. They just seem not to cut the thread so well now. I really needed these! They are very sharp and work great!
