Best Purchase I Have Ever Made!
Ok, I JUST got my order today and I can't contain my excitement!!!MY STORYI basically got this solar device to charge my small appliances and devices (e.g. cell phone, portable speaker, power banks, rechargable batteries, console gamepads, and so on...). I figure that, at this price, I will eventually make some overhead on what I save on my electric bill. As long as this thing lasts as long as I expect it to (maybe 1-2+ years?? I hope...). Plus, I'm a bit of a "green freak" when I can be. I do have panels on my roof, but it doesn't quite cut it for the power used throughout the house. This device allows me to at least keep my solar power usage a bit higher and electric bill slightly lower.THE PRODUCTSo, I just opened it maybe 2 hours ago and I've been playing around with it a bit. It's light, compact, seemingly durable, and it works! I was skeptical at first because of the relatively low price, but it seems to be a very high quality product.CONSLet's start with the cons... This product is still new to me, so I will update accordingly as time goes on:-It doesn't work at night (but what did u expect?)-limited power at sunset/rise- Slow power production. My phone eats up about as much power as this thing puts out... on "battery saving" mode -_--no internal battery-I'm skeptical of its waterproof-ness, but I'm not about to test it out, so I'll just take the seller at their word for now. I would just be cautious about taking this thing into the water park/pool with you... PROS-seems extremely durable-it works great!-Slow charging works well with power banks or very small devices. I very highly recommend getting a power bank to supplement this product. Even if it's cheap, as long as it holds a charge, it's really all you need to make your solar power worth while. Even two 2500 mah banks would be plenty.-VERY compact. It's the size of a small notebook!-withstands relatively warm/hot temps (at least 80° direct sunlight for 1 hr). I can't find any info on max temps for this device, but I would like to know because temperatures here can often exceed 110°F and would love to know when, where, and how long I can actually use it.-supposedly waterproof (be cautious though...)-USB compatable. Has 2 ports.-versatile. Hang it, fold it, stand it up, lay it flat. You can pretty much move it any which way to get the most sunlight. If anything changes, expect updates. But I have a feeling that this might be one of the best, most economic, most environmentally friendly, and most useful products I have ever purchased!

This charger works really well. On bright sunny days it charged my phone quickly. It charges slower on mildly cloudy days and it even charged in the tent on a sunny day. On very cloudy days it doesnt charge much if at all. It comes with a pocket for cables and handy rings to hang up outside. Explicit instructions come with it and I was also emailed instructions about being careful to put the device being charged in the shade with good ventalation for proper cooling because batteries get hot when charging. Over all a great product and I would definitely buy again.

What I liked most about this product was it actually charged my cell phone plan and simple. The one thing I didn't like about this product was that I found it to be extremely sensitive, meaning if it wasn't pointed at the sun directly/correctly or exact it wouldn't give a great charge. I think if they were to add an adjustable kickstand where you could set the angle would help with the sensitivity issue. I would certainly recommend this product.

used for bike tour
I connected this panel to a Lithium battery during a bike tour. It was placed on my rear rack as I was riding during the day. I charged my phone, bike computer, and camera during the night. The battery stayed at the same level of charge. The panel was able to sustain me during trip. All days had full sun except 1 day of partial sun. It fulfilled my needs for the bicycle tour.

Ordered this as part of a go bag for a hiking trip. Wound up using the carabiner clips (it came with) and hooking it up to my wife's bike bag since her phone was dying. It fits flat inside her bag when done and when unfolded it opens up and barely covers her bag. The panel takes the heat instead of the contents of her bag now (e.g. you have a camelbak or energy bars that can get warm or melt). It also keeps some of that heat off your back. Bought it to supply power for [[ASIN:B00N4E84T8 ExpertPower 20,000mAh Power Bank / Portable Charger for Smartphones & Tablets // Android & Apple Compatible] but will not charge it. It doesnt produce enough power to charge even it in direct full sunlight. So this panel can't even charge a battery bank brick. Purchased 2 and now I feel like I got had.PROS-2 USB slots-Works somewhat even with overcast or the lights in your home (non LED).-Small size, light weight = convenienceCONS-Small area to hold cables, but it's velcro and weak stitching is causing failure already keeping the stuff closed and held in since it's ripping apart (took maybe a dozen time of opening the velcro for it to pop the stitching)-No Battery Bank (and with my experience, it can't charge anything over 10k mAh let alone my 20k ones I bought)-2.3A out it only for 1 port at a time use. If you plug in both your lucky to push 1A in full sunlight(which is standard phone charging, 2A is tablet)-No color selection (posted 2016 when no color selection was available)-Not water proof. Water resistant at best. Proof implies submersible like the new Galaxy phones with no ports to let water in. Resistant means bring it in if it's raining outside. That's what they say to do with this one. It's resistant. BARELY. See comments for further explanation. The "Amazon Customer" I answered, is actually the seller posing as a customer as well. I have the email from the seller asking me to change my rewiew, word for word, that seller...-Seller didn't like my 5 star review and asked me to change it. So now I posted it's flaws instead.I've been with Amazon a decade and all my reviews are 100% my own and I have never gotten anything free or discounted. I pay full price for all my stuff. Just like it should be on amazon, this is my OPINION (everyone has their own) and my EXPERIENCE with the product I received. I can leave 1 star, I can leave 5. It's all up to how you feel this product held up to YOUR standards. It it fails, falls apart, seller harasses you, whatever, you have the right to express your opinion. All of the stuff here are opinions based on fact though. And Im a top review because I buy so much stuff and review all of it accurately and in depth. So all in all. Your mileage may vary. Yours may not fail. But all in all, mine did on so many levels. And if the seller wants to cry about having a color selection, I didnt have a choice a year ago of what color to buy. So don't dont harass customers a year later telling them to change reviews or your 5 stars go to 1 real fast. I posted the review after a week of playing with the panel and being happy. After a month I saw it was garbage but didnt think to change the review. Getting a message a year later criticizing me only made me come back and point out why this product is garbage. Did it to yourself, BRIAN @ SooKoo. :D
