Bought this black sweat-blocking shirt specifically for wearing under a black dress-shirt and a rather heavy coat. My youngest daughter was getting married and the usual nerves were in play. I tend to sweat heavily in general, and much worse from the arm pits. Even when I was assisting in removing and stacking chairs, bring down lights and loading cars with food .. and sweating like a racehorse .. my dress shirt remained dry and there was no odor even at the end of a very active and a bit nerve-wracking night! I purchased the long-cut white version of this same shirt for wear under a mostly white dress shirt and suit, for the wedding of my older daughter a few years back. It was in a warmer, more humid climate and it performed just as well. I have washed the white one twice, and the black one once and there has been no decrease in sweat absorption, or odor protection. The shirts did not shrink with washing. I don't use this type of shirt daily, only for situations where it really counts. They are expensive, as t-shirts go, but given their purpose and effectiveness, I think they're worth it.

I have used Thompson T products for years - - - they virtually eliminate any possibility of underarm sweat bleeding through your colored dress shirts or any other garment, so you can wear what you want with confidence. I tried underarm pads and all kinds of other products to no avail until I found Thompson T-Shirts. I would give them a 5 star overall rating except that after a lot of use, the underarm pads retain odor you cannot wash out. I would suggest that they use a Microbial fabric in the built-in under-arm pads to prevent this - - - - however, I get a 2 year service life out of the shirts before this starts to happen, which in my book is great for the convenience they provide.

Firstly, I have never bothered to write a review; even for products I’ve been unhappy with. But I have been meaning to write a review for these shirts since I bought them. I’ve had hyperhidrosis for years; mostly under my armpits. It doesn’t matter whether it’s winter or summer; or whether I’m hot or cold. I always have pit stains within minutes of wearing a shirt. It’s always been inconvenient and embarrassing. I’ve ruined many of my personal shirts bc they get stained white from the deodorant and eventually wear out or rip. I live in an area where sweatshirt weather is common so I’ve just kinda brushed it aside and wear dark colors. Wearing a dark, permanently pit stained shirt has kiiiinda been okay bc the new sweat turns the white stain back to being dark. But it’s gross and ruins my shirts; for years. I didn’t get DESPERATE until I changed jobs and went from wearing a black shirt to light blues. By the time I’d get to work my shirt was already soaked. A couple hours in to my day the pit stain would creep down so far that it’s still visible when I close my arms. Extremely embarrassing and unprofessional. I started using special night time antiperspirant, bringing 2-3 shirts to work; and layering them with a bunch of sweat pads. The pads would always get soaked, fall off (sometimes at my desk!) and were just a huge pain and waste of money. I for real was DESPERATE when I came across this shirt. If you have the same problem I do; BUY THIS SHIRT. I now wear light blue to work w/ this undershirt; no special antiperspirant, no pads or backup shirts. My underarms stay 100% dry ALL DAY. Not a single bit shows through my work shirt. I bought more of these to wear under my regular home shirts too; investing in 4-5 of these undershirts will save me SO much money in the long run because I’ll no longer ruin EVERY shirt I wear. I am SO grateful to have found this and I have 0 complaints. I never ever worry about pit stains and it’s honestly a huge relief. I don’t mean to be dramatic; but this is legitimately a life changing product for me.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE these shirts. I am a victim and long time sufferer of hyperhidrosis, I am an all day non stop armpit sweater almost immediately after I wake, up all the way up to the minute I go to bed. These shirts are comfortable, soft, and contains for a majority of the day and depending on how much I'm sweating (somedays more than others) the sweat my armpits put out. I kid you not, i could fill up a 6 oz. Glass full of sweat. Hyperhidrosis sucks and all who suffer from it whether it be your hands, feet, lower region, or armpits you understand what I mean. As a 7 of these shirts owner, I highly recommend them to anyone with extreme heavy sweating in the armpits. I am currently 5' 7" tall and about 185lbs and I wear the LARGE to fit more comfortably. Might try out an XL because after a dozen or so washes I find that they do shrink up a little bit. ALSO....WASH ON COLD, DRY ON LOW....AND ALWAYS FLIP INSIDE OUT TO REMOVE THE POSSIBLE STAINING FROM A HARD DAYS SWEAT. Lover of the shirt and will be a buyer for years to come, possibly the rest of my life. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.👏👏🙏👍

Be careful ordering. I normally wear x-large but order my t-shirts 2X for comfort. MY new one says 2X and it is very tight, what i would normally call a large size.

First I wanted to start by telling that the delivery was really fast ..After 24 hours of ordering it arrived at my home ..I was very surprised.My husband has a lot of problem with the sweat.We have tried a lot of things to try to prevent it but nothing helped ..Than we saw this shirt on amazon and we were curious to try and for the beginning we ordered just one ..It arri within 24 hours and the person who delivered was very kind . Immediately my husband started to wear it ..After we walked a lot and was very hot it was just a little bit of a small signs of sweat but not like the other shirts ..We liked it a lot and we ordered 3 more .The price is decent for the work that this shirt does ..For hot days coming this shirt is perfect ..If anyone has any question feel free to ask

El precio es algo elevado, pero valen realmente la pena. Ya que hace perfecto su función para retener el sudor, la tela es delgada pero muy cómoda, en mi caso por mi peso tuve que pedir en talla grande y me quedaron perfectas ya que no me quedan ajustadas y tampoco muy sueltas y hago uso de un desodorante con piedra de alumbre para evitar malos olores y funciona bien, solo esperando que no afecte a los escudos con el tiempo. Totalmente recomendables y las tallas son de acuerdo a lo que publican. Me esperaré en adquirir más playeras porque tengo que bajar de peso y que ojalá no suban mucho de precio, porque no son económicas.

Je transpire beaucoup au niveau des aisselles et j’ai décidé d’essayer ce t-shirt. Franchement, il remplit parfaitement sa fonction : aucune auréole visible, même lors de journées où je transpire davantage. On ressent toujours la transpiration et il peut y avoir une sensation d’humidité sous les aisselles, mais l’essentiel est que rien ne transparaît à l’extérieur. Le t-shirt reste discret et permet de se sentir beaucoup plus à l’aise en public. En revanche, je déconseille de le porter sous un autre t-shirt. Le tissu est assez épais et, dans mon cas, cela tient rapidement trop chaud, surtout lorsqu’il fait déjà chaud dehors. Pour ma part, c’est un produit efficace que je recommande aux personnes qui cherchent avant tout à éviter les traces de transpiration sur leurs vêtements.

I don't know why this has so good reviews. I thought that, for that price, it would work. Well you just get a t shirt with some heavy absorbing material that makes you feel that the arm pit is not breathing well, it is kinda plasticy smelly, and the stains are still there, just moved a bit further down. Useless purchase whatsoever.

great product for underarm sweat problems,good size ,good quality,just wish i could get a whole upper-body product to capture all upper body sweat as im a heavy sweater in all upper body. i would recomend this product.

Not as good as the previously ordered one. The area underneath was much smaller than it used to be. Not sure what happened to Thompson Tee
