It works as advertised.
It was supported by Windows 11 natively. I didn't have to manually load any driver. It's just plug and play. It worked as advertied.

Works great, but it has screws instead of hex nuts
The male serial connector is supposed to have hex nuts, not screws. Although this works with Windows 10 after manually installing drivers (Windows Update found none), I must return it because I can screw the cable to it properly. This was made backwards.

Get ONLY FTDI adaptors
I have purchased a number of these FTDI chip based adaptors and have absolutely no problem. The other chip sets are junk. Go running if they don't tell you the chip set or if it is not FTDI.

Works with Windows 11
So Microsoft crammed an update through on my laptop to Windows 11 and some of my previously working items no longer are compatible anymore. I need to use an old Serial interface for some old equipment for work and decided to give this adapter a try and it works quite well. I did not see any others out there that looked like they would work. Glad that I picked this one up.

Not Compatible with Windows 11
Even though the title on Amazon says it is compatible with Windows 11 it is not. The driver only lets you choose up to Windows 10.
