Great yarn
This is my favorite kind of yarn. It's a whole pound, so if I make a single-color afghan I don't have to weave in so many ends. But it's also light and soft and easy to work with. Full disclosure, I recently got 4 skeins in a hunter green color and 2 of them were almost like thread, so different from the other two that I couldn't use them and ended up tossing all 4 skeins. But that was an anomaly because so far that's been the only problem I've had with this brand and I've bought a LOT of it (crocheting afghans: something to do over the long winter months).

You won’t be disappointed
Great quality. Not too soft. I’m making an afghan with it.

Perfect match
Had to purchase because I needed more than expected for pattern. Got the brand and color that matched. It cost a little more but had to purchase to finish

This is the yarn I use the most.
This brand and color seems to have become my "go to" preference for crocheting blankets for the NICU unit at a local hospital. It's neutral, it's a beautiful color and I can use contrasting trim for either a baby boy or a baby girl. I've used several skeins of this yarn and while I mix the colors of yarns I use, I always come back to this one.

KUDOS for Careful lot matching but severe yarn barf
I've bought many skeins of Pound of Love and found them all to have severe yarn barf. IF (and that's a BIG IF) I can pull out a wad from the center, it's always about a big handful of yarn, sometimes more. This last skein was the worst of all, which is why I'm writing this review. Today, after many failed attempts to pull a wad from the center, I finally gave up and wound it up all from the outside. Huge pain. LION ... let's fix this issue, huh?Aside from that major yarn barf ache, I really like the yarn. It works up medium soft (using a 5mm hook), it's machine washable and dryable, the skeins are huge, and there are so many colors available. I recently found it on sale here on Amazon for nearly $4 off!HUGE KUDOS for whoever packed this order of 3 same-color yarns!!! Some person actually peeled back a bit of each plastic bag to see the small printed lot number and matched all three. It was no coincidence. I was very pleasantly surprised. Even a local yarn store refused to do that recently.

Favorite yarn for blankets.
This is my absolute favorite yarn to use for blankets. Soft, easy to see stitches, easy to use and doesn't split. Plus, it's at a reasonable price.
