15" Hampton Classic Wooden Planter Box Indoor and Outdoor Use for Patio Garden (44" x 15" x 15")

This planter is perfect for a large passionflower vine. It's attractive, well-made and was easily assembled in about ten minutes. It was simple to install a cedar trellis in-between the plastic insert and the wooden box. We screwed in the trellis to increase stability.Two things could be improved when using this planter with potting soil. We checked the drainage of the plastic insert, and found that it drained very slowly. So we increased the size of some of the holes. Now it drains fine.And, since wet potting soil is quite heavy, we added two aluminum straps to hold the sides together.Literature for this item indicates that the planter has been treated to resist UV and that the expected life of the planter is 3-5 years. In its present location it will be exposed to both blazing Texas afternoon sun and winter cold fronts. Hope it lasts at least three years!

The side & end panels were pre-assembled and were easy to screw together & drop the bottom in. They came with a plastic liner that is perforated for drainage. I'm going to plant some tall grasses & other plants in them for a privacy screen in my front yard.

We ordered two of them. Though some of the reviews said the pieces didn't fit well, we had zero problems with ours; they took about 5 minutes each to assemble. They also include what seems to be a good solid liner for the planter box itself. Once assembled they look terrific, and they comfortably hold two medium sized shrubs each. Even our gardener commented on how nice they are. Time will tell how well they last, but for right now, we are extremely happy.

Liked this so much I bought another! Beautiful color, sturdy, easy to put together. I recommend a drill to put in screws instead of screwdriver, take just a few minutes this way.

Wood is treated with some kind of weather protection. It is very easy to assemble - just a screw driver. It is a handsome looking planter box. Little too deep for herbs but good depth for flowers.

I bought this planter in late March and the bottom of the planter collapsed in mid-August - I only used it for annuals, but I didn’t even get one season out of it, although the website falsely states that it has a life expectancy of 3-5 years. I wrote to the seller, and Amazon also wrote to the seller, but the seller did not respond to either.

I was pleasantly surprised with the planters I bought. Got two of them. Just want to say they are of good material, well-constructed, and the assembly is minimal. Everything fit on both of them. I've had others in the past, that were not as well constructed or have the workmanship that these two do. Well pleased.

Usually when I hear easy to assemble I’m a skeptic but this was easy to put together. Well built and beautiful wood.
