So, the bowls are great. Nothing wrong with them, perfect size for French onion soup, I love them, but...-When I received this package, I opened it on my bed (mistake number one), noticing small clear fibers sticking out from the Styrofoam in the Amazon packaging. I didn't pay that any mind, and continued to open the Bruntmor box, which also had styrofoam inside and also had clear fibers sticking out from it. They were everywhere, on the bowls, on my bed. I still just told myself they were harmless until the fibers started making me itch on my hands where I had touched them. I do not know of any substance other than fiberglass that looks and acts like this!!-I ended up cleaning off the bowls and swiftly discarding everything else, but I then had to completely vacuum, launder, and clean every inch of the room I opened this package in. I don't know if this was Amazon's fault or the seller's, but seriously people, you can't let a ton of fiberglass just end up in a package!-I won't be filing for a return because 1) I am not about to go touching that box again to ship it back 2) I don't want some poor Amazon worker to have to touch fiberglass like I did and 3) I don't want to lose the bowls, because I really do love them. I don't think there's a way to get a refund for my troubles without returning the bowls in their original packaging and all that, so I will accept my fate I suppose.

I ordered these for my 93 year old dad to use to heat his meals in his toaster oven, and he loves them.The short tapered handle allows bowl to fit in oven, and he's able to grab it with an oven mit to remove when ready. Size is great too!There were a lot of bowls on the web, but I couldn't tell the size by the pics, but the pics on this ad had a person's hand on the bowl, which enabled me to decide. Cudos to the marketing folks!

As soon as I got these bowls, I made French onion soup! And it was awesome! Super easy to handle in and out of the oven and in general! Love how much soup I can fit in here! The fact that it comes with four is perfect! Also love the color! Definitely recommend. Excited to make other meals in it!

I have another set of bowls like this where the handle is part of the dish. These are attached to the the bowl with glue. So far they’re doing good but the handle is definitely the weak link. Hopefully they hold for years because I love the look and size. I also like that they are stackable.

Unless you like cold soup or cereal spilling out I would not recommend for eithersince are quite shallow. Color matches well as pix with the aquaLike to use as a small dinner plate and like that bowl does not get too hot in the microwavebut heats the food well
