Very spacious!
I bought this binder to split up a book into three sections, because the two that I had were overflowing. This was the perfect size to make it easier to read all these pages. Sometimes bigger really is better!

Great size
Used these binders to reorganize my recipes by categories. It's nice to be able to have my whole collection together and easy to find.

Great cling stamp storage
The size is great for storing my cling rubber stamps. Got one at Walmart and it had more Avery stickers on it then the Amazon buyer ones. Also once I was putting things in realized some of the seams where opening. I taped them. Makes me wonder if these were used or 2nds. Why 5*? I am reviewing the item which I love. Avery makes a great binder. I find they last longer with regular use then the cheaper brands. Easy to open and close. Has the extra front & back pockets that I put my Peachy Keen full sheet clear stamps in. Like the clear front and back to put content samples in. The buyer on the other hand not so happy with but I didn't use them very soon after getting them and I didn't want the hassle of exchange. I was in the middle of a project and wanted it done then. Not later.

These are great!
I read some of the other reviews and know that some people had trouble with the rings closing tightly. Mine work just fine and I absolutely LOVE the "D" binder and the EZ open tab! Both great improvements over the old ways. For those of you that haven't used the EZ open rings - Literally it's one-finger opening. No more pressing with one hand and trying to pry the rings open with the other hand. And the "D" ring is secured to the back of the binder so you're not constantly ripping the paper from the ring every time you open and close the binder. If you've never tried a "D" ring and the EZ tab, take my advice and splurge. The little extra you spend will give you a very good products that keeps things neat and tidy.I got the 4" binder...I homeschool and it's very helpful to have the larger binder. Now that I've tried one, I'll be buying another one to begin organizing my genealogy papers and pictures.

The best binders
These are the best binders. They're expensive (I don't know that any binder needs to be over $10), but if you have to pay a high price anyway, these are the ones to go with. They're sturdy, they open easily, and they close completely. And importantly, the rings inside are as large as the spine outside. Some binders claim to be 4" and their spines are, but the rings inside are only 3".

Well-built, but some have rings that don't meet in the middle perfectly
These are my go to binders. I love the durability, reliability and the rubberized ring to open the rings. However, on some of them, the binder rings don't mesh perfectly in the middle where they meet. This makes it hard to turn pages, slows you down, and can even risk tearing pages a little. For such a high premium price, it would be nice if Avery did something about that. It's been going on for a least a year or two.
