Works fantastically
Wow, what a great, simple idea. My son managed to snap the end of his headphone jack off into his ipad. I tried small tweezers, and a magnet but no luck. The local mobile/laptop/Ipad repair shop quoted £120 saying we may need to remove the screen to get the broken bit out! My wife came across this product and as soon as you get it out of the pack you think.."it's so simple why didn't I think of that!" I pushed it in to the jack hole firmly, tapped it down with the handles of a pair of pliers and then used the same pliers to pull it out. Took about 15 seconds from start to finish and there was the broken bit of jack free from the ipad and stuck in the base of the device. End result, 1 happy 9 year old and 1 happy dad whose over £100 better off. Totally recommend this product. I've a good mind to take it to the ipad repair shop and show them how easy it was.

Serious waste of money
Followed every instruction every video. This did not work. All I have now is bent pieces of flimsy metal. Great

Sceptical
My daughter unfortunately broke the end of earphones jack plug on her Samsung tablet ,rang a few places to have it removed prices started at £50 and most seemed to think they would have to open it up . That would invalidate warranty so tried this product and was truly amazed how well and easy it did the trick . Absolutely brilliant product .

I had lost hope but this tool worked!!
My cheap earphones plug broke into my phone on Friday evening and after no luck getting it out myself using online tutorials (I tried them all! BIC pen tube, superglue, a paperclip red hot with a lighter etc).I saw online people mentioned this tool but I wasn't quite desperate yet, so I spent my weekend trying to get it fixed and every phone shop repair place couldn't get it out and one even wanted me to pay £25 for him to open my phone and check if the earphones jack of my phone could be replaced with a new one. If it couldn't, I still had to pay £25!In the end I bought this tool Sunday night, it came earlier (on my lunch break Tuesday) and after 2 tries, I managed to get it out!!!!!!I am so happy I have my phone back and it didn't damage my phone! Thank you so much for this nifty tool!I only tried one of the tube and didn't use any pliers just my hand (but be careful as the little instructions say in the package the little tubes have sharp edges and coult cut if not careful). I still have all the parts in perfect condition now, to use again if this happens! I've learnt my lesson though, no more cheap earphones and if possible L shap plug ones only from now on!!I'm almost tempted to go around all those phone repair places and show them the tool and how it worked! You would expect the "professionals" to have all the tools already instead of you having to buy it yourself!

Fiddly but worked
There are 4 tools in the pack. I got mine out on the third attempt, having distorted the first 2 tools. Used a hammer gently to get it far enough in, then pliers to squeeze it together to grip the jack and pull. Overpriced for what it is but it worked 👍

After all else failed, these actually worked
I had my doubts, and it took two attempts, but these worked where superglue, the ink tube of a bic pen and many hours of failed fishing attempts with different kinds of tweezers failed. The trick is to push in harder than you think you should, and to make sure when you grip (and squash together) the tube, you do so in a way that one side will go over or under the other - this is where I went wrong the first time, and got right the second.Given I didn't have to pay for repair, or resort to taking the screen off to get access to the port myself, these are worth every penny.Note: I didn't get the promised little brush, not that I needed it.

Save your money
£9.99 , for slow delivery, no brush and none of the 4 removers worked. Did all as instructed and video suggested, pretty pointless as still have jack head stuck in tablet and £10 down. Hope works better for others.

Didn’t work for me
Giving this 2 stars as the product just really didn’t work for me.Bought this with the intention of removing a headphone jack that was snapped inside a tablet aux port.I used the extraction tool as per the instructions but it just did not remove the jack. If anything it pushed the damaged connector further into the aux port.May work for others, just didnt do the job for me.

Funciona

Fai da te, no, costa caro! Assistenza, no costa caro!
