Practical & easy to follow
Practical and easy to follow mudras with pictures and descriptions. This book allows you to see what position the hands should take as well as explaining it in detail and then telling you the effects of this hand position.

A good basic manual for those interested in Yoga self-healing Mudras.
For more than 7 decades I have been a voracious reader of all kinds of topics. My passions for learning more about a wide range of subjects have never stopped even though I am well into my senior years. My interests in Tai Chi, Qigong and Yoga in my middle age years has continued into my senior years and in fact, I still teach a class of seniors once a week. One of the branches of Yoga I have recently studied more deeply has been Yoga Mudras, which are basically hand positions for self-improvement. This 72-page soft cover book (Mudras: 25 Ultimate Techniques for self-healing by Advant) which I purchased on Amazon, is one of the many books I have read lately on this topic.I really liked this small volume a lot because it is easy to understand, with clear black and white photographs showing the hand positions. It also explains what each of the Mudras is focusing on and how long you should practice each of the Mudras for best results. The author does not waste time with long lengthy explanations and gets right to the subject matter, which appeals to most people.The only complaints I have about this manual, which unfortunately seems to be the trend lately, is 1. There are no page numbers. 2. A table of contents with no page numbers. Like I always do, I personally wrote both the page numbers in the book and in the table of contents using my pen.In any case, if you are seeking an easy to read and understand manual on self-healing techniques using Yoga Mudras you may want to check out this book.Rating: 4 Stars. This book is easy to understand. The mudras are very clear I’m excited about practicing them. I definitely recommend this book.

I did like the illustrations, in this book. Easy enough to follow. Worth exploring if your interested in learning more about mudras and in general. Good book.

So helpful. The author makes things easy to learn and understand, which is perfect for the beginner. Just the right amount of information, along with very clear photos to make it easy to learn. I'm impressed with his books and so grateful I found them.
