This book is filled with tons of information and different types of tools and techniques used in ethical hacking. I will say I did not pass the CEHv9 exam on the first try, but I did pass the exam the second try which I took a week after failing the first time. The reason for giving this book 4 stars is simply because of the systems and tools section within the exam. There are just so many different hacking tools out there and any one of them could be listed on the exam. You will need more than this book to study on the different tools used for ethical hacking that they do not cover. That is the sole reason why I failed the first time taking the exam because I was not familiar with some of the tools they were referencing. I would suggest anyone planning on taking the exam to try and study as many tools as possible and at least know what they are used for since the systems and tools domain is 32 percent of the exam. As for everything else the book was a great and helpful source. the sybex test bank questions were very helpful. I will say there were a few mistakes with the sybex test bank questions but if you've been in the IT security field for a while like myself, you'll be able to spot those errors out. I would not recommend using this book as your only source although I will say this book did have most of the information needed to past the exam besides the systems and tools section. I passed the CEH test today - YEAH!!! Study the guide and the practice tests and you can pass too! ### ⭐⭐ The errors I know about are the least annoying part... *by D***K on Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2018* I have learned a lot from the content of this book. Ir's pretty easy to digest and does a great job of spelling out what you need to pay attention to for the exam. The biggest problem is that there are way too many errors for me to fully trust this as my sole source of information for the CEH exam. I've submitted a handful of corrections that have been added to the online errata section, but I'm the one who is supposed to be learning from the book, not the other way around. Even worse, when a correction is accepted and added to the errata, things like incorrect answers given for chapter review questions aren't updated in the online chapter review tests.
