I use it for drilling into my clay soil. Strong. When it hits a rock it comes out without a nick.

Works well for large holes in yard turf. Use it for slightly deeper and larger holes to get water to tree roots. Fill the holes with sane after drilling.If you push too hard on it and not straight down while drilling you may bend the shaft a little near where it attaches to the drill. I'm using a smaller diameter auger drill to aerate various areas on my lawn. Has made a big difference in health of my St Augustine yard.

A quick way to put fertilizer spikes in the ground around the oak trees! NO Hammering! A strong drill motor and you are done in a flash!

This thing works great for digging a hole for an umbrella at the beach.

Purchased as recommended for installing no dug fence. Not as sturdy as needed.

I was so looking forward to receiving the Auger. Unfortunately it does not fit a 3/8 drive bit so I cannot use it without some how retro fitting it to the 3/8 bit adapter.. it is wobbly.Since I am returning this I d rather not mess it up.Please be warned although it says that it is compatible with a 3/8 bit it is not.It will fit , in that , I can slide it in there but it falls out. So What Good is It ?

Durable and well made. Used to make holes for tulip bulbs. Performed as expected.

Bent the first time I hit a root and will also not drill though ice as described!!!
