Super impressive.
Masterful and Impressive! Even though this is my first Dr. Brad Whisnant book, I understand how he is helping to create a legion of Balance Method Fanatics. This book gives due praise, thanks, and regard to legendary doctors, Dr. Richard Tan and Master Tung (amidst other practitioners). They are the foundation upon which Dr. Whisnant is perfecting. Having some familiarity already with the Balance and Master Tung methods I really appreciate the clarity of explanation and presentation (visual and didactic) that Dr. Whisnant uses in this book for targeting Head & Neck Pain. He is really an engaging and supportive teacher. "Wow" is all I can really say. Super impressive.

This is an excellent guide. Quick and dirty protocols
This is an excellent guide. Quick and dirty protocols. I bought the Kindle version b/c it's nice to have an electronic version and I wanted it to be accessible. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars vs. 5 is because it has many typos. Typos make me extra nervous when I see them in a context of a "quick and dirty" guide because they include point numbers and abbreviations and their properly identification is essential. Often times the channels' abbreviations (i.e. LI vs. LR) are only 1 letter difference, for example. So! My advice to Dr. Whisnant is to please hire a copy editor (or a new one) next time and readers be aware of this.

this is an amazing reference guide
As with his books co-authored with Deborah Bleecker, this is an amazing reference guide. I am more a solid book person but to have this information quickly and readily available. Well, let's just say my practice is up and running even more quickly and successfully thanks to Brad's and Deborah's books. Quick, insightful and helpful. What more do you want?

I am truly thankful for this guide book !!
I don’t say this often but “I love this book”. Knowing how each procedure works and the benefits that I can gain from them it of great value. I have always wondered how or if any of these procedures and practices would benefit me, and know I know that they can indeed help me and it eases my mind to know just how each of them works. I am so thankful for this step by step guide and hand book.

Point prescriptions work well, but a bit overpriced for the content
I have been using the points listed and have been seeing good results. For the price I was pretty surprised by the small amount of content. It reads like a student's class notes, not a textbook.

Good information, great references
Good information, great references, some of the book is a bit repetitive and could be better organised, but overall, an excellent resource

Bad lay out. Wasted space . no indexing.
Price very high for what you get. Bad layout and index. He wastes. Many whole pages on a head diagram with 3 points on it and no referance on page as to what they go with . He could have more description of technique, indications and such. Book needs a redue to add more and proper index for the price. In order to understand his thought process it will be a bit of. Over reading to do vs look and understand. 5

Great information
The book was chock full of great information. I don't know Master Tung's work so I was happy that Brad chose standard TCM points to use in describing his treatments. I can't wait to try this out in the clinic.I lowered the star rating due to poor editing. I got the impression that Brad was so excited to share his book that he rushed through the editing process. I found the many grammar errors to be a distraction.

Hervorragend!
