Awful awful awful
Not sure that romance is the correct category for this awful and generally depressing story filled with shallow, unlikeable characters. The women are getting into physical fights, the men are drug dealing thugs engaged in a life of crime. The writing is so poor as to render the book almost unreadable. The heroine has a make up business and is so materialistic and shallow and the Hero has spent his life drug dealing, breaking and entering and touting a gun. No education, job or prospects, or good decisions ... oh and is just out of prison. What a catch!I disliked all the characters. The writing was poor with loads of made up words and the sex scenes were very crass, boring and repetitive and not at all sexy. I’ve no problem with something being explicit or with foul language but this was just crude and vulgar with no sex appeal at all - ie women being constantly called pussy. The author used the same phrases over and over again. The phrase “bald headed hoe” must appear a dozen or more times. There so much cheating (again I’ve no problem with that) but disliked the author’s repeated criticism that it was one thing to turn a blind eye to affairs but there was a problem when the “side bitches” didn’t know their place and were disrespecting the wife! No issue with the cheating just that they didn’t know their place in the hierarchy!!This is my first book by this author and it will be my last. Poorly formed sentences, made up adjectives and one dimensional characters who do not evolve at all during the story made it a serious challenge to finish.

Thank you Jessica. I LOVES IT! No SPOILERS!
Sooo, good. The story was put together well as only Jessica can do it. It rugged at all the emotions. All the characters were likable until one started showing their true colors! The book was short, but did not feel rushed. Nothing was left open. It ended well. It a stand alone, but if she wanted, she could continue this one!😉 I wouldn’t be surprised if she does. I’d just be happy. Still loving all of your books Jessica!❤️

A LOT going on
I enjoyed this book, but felt like it could have been 2 books, one for each storyline (Harmony/Dallas and Jocelyn/Caine/Dre). I liked each story and the characters, it was just a LOT going on. None of it was bad. I would read this author again.

Midwest Dallas 😍
Where do I begin? In the beginning I loved the bond between Dallas and Caine but that quickly changed when I realized Caine only cared about what was best for Caine. I’m glad that Jocelyn finally realized that and was able to find love with who she least expected. Even though Harmony and Dallas had their ups and downs I’m glad that things turn out well for them both. Great read!

Love this author
This book was good. I do have a "but" though....it needed to be proof read again and out loud as there were more errors than usual for the author. This is the only thing that was irritating as it made for "hard" read leading to me givinga 3/5 rating. Other than it was good.

Great read
Ooh Caine got on my damn nerves the entire time with his grimy ass. The way he did his wife was so wrong but I’m glad she got what she needed in Dre. Caine finally got what he deserved!!!!!!For half the book I could choose if I was team Harmony or team Dallas but I’m happy they worked it out. For this book to be so hood it was also like a fairytale ending so I enjoyed it

Masterful storytelling and excellent narration!
This book was my first by this author but will not be my last. It took me a second to get into it (after being introduced to the character that would become my most-hated book villain) but then I could not put it down! The way Watkins weaved all the character's storylines together was masterful and the full-cast narration was amazing!
