Well made but…
It would be nice if these bands came with their own carabiner clip. Otherwise, they are good bands.

Different league than competition
High quality tubular exercise bands are becoming more and more difficult to find and are oftentimes only available in complete sets. These are the best I've been able to find and I love that I can buy them individually. I ordered this as a spare along with 2 others after taking delivery of the green 80 pound version, carefully examining it and then using it. I'm impressed. I'll note that I'm a now retired mechanical design engineer who's been working out on a regular basis for the last 40 years.

Best price for performance
I like these bands A LOT. They are a very good value for the price. You can buy Bodylastics and pay 2x for each band. Or you can buy cheaper ones made with less quality materials. But these bands from GoFit are the perfect balance of price and quality. Just realize that unlike metal weights, NO band will not last forever and you will have to replace them at some point. Also the people saying they are not the correct weight are missing the point. The number is not the weight of the band. It is the maximum pressure you should pull the band with. Take the 20lb band. You should only pull it until you reach 20lb of resistance. The listed weight is for a single band anchored at the center and pulled by BOTH ends to a length of about 6 feet. sure I could pull the band 10 feet and it will get way harder, but it will damage the band. Don't do that! Just work out with whatever band gives you failure in 10-15 reps.

Terrific for exercising my shoulder muscles.
Update after 9 years: The first set hanging on the wall for all this time crumbled. I bought another set of 50lb. Reading the label it said, don't align these with your body and don't stretch them double their resting length. I was doing both. So I bought a pair of 80lbs. These seem perfect. Enough stretch for arm movements. So the critical factor is not overstretching the tubes (If the eye bolt came out of the wall it could kill you.) I'm 5'8" older -- but here's some good info. When I first bought the 50lbs in 2014, I was really fit, a strong kayak paddler. Last couple of years...I've been sitting around. The tubes are so versatile that I'm probably a few inches from where I once stood and I'm still getting a good muscle work out even though I'm much weaker. I'm going sailing for a few months -these will be my gym.Original review (2014): Terrific for exercising my shoulder muscles. (2023 a new set, still terrific)I was concerned that 50 pounds might be too much. I've got two of these and one 40 pound. The difference is 1. How far back you stand and pull determines the force. 2. A stronger Tube at the same force allows me to use a shorter range. I don't think I'm working these at 50 pounds I think I'm getting more of what I want in a shorter but more useful movement. (Shoulder stabilization and muscle balancing. I'm a kayaker).I leave these hanging on the wall hook. They're durable. (but put a date on them and replace them after a couple of years.) I've used the wide latex type bands, but they dry out and break down after a couple of months. (inside these FoFit is also latex tubing - much better protected, but it will get brittle over time.) Hope this helps.

Great addition
I didn't realize it didn't have the metal hooks. However it does attach to my other bands

Great Results but not Durable
Excellent results from the resistance, would have been five stars until it snapped. Result of the snap was painful, I would think they would make this more durable to avoid any potential unnecessary injuries.

So far so good
Gives a nice easy workout with GoFit exercise bar. i do 4 sets of 10 reps for 3 different exercises within a 1/2 hour. I rest one minute between sets of 10 and 3-4 minutes between the 3 exercises. I do standing curls with band under my feet, then standing shoulder presses where I stretch band over my head, then standing pull ups with hands in centre of bar pulling from waist to shoulder height. Not a bad workout in 1/2 an hour. So far so good.

Not worth the price.
Feels very cheap compared to my regular ones. No one sells individual replacement ones so I decided to try this. Bought it to replace a broken one that was also rated at 20 lbs. This one is closer to 5 lbs. Quite useless for me.
