Great Shoe for Nurses
Love these shoes! They’re very supportive during my shifts in the ICU. They take a bit of breaking in, but it’s definitely worth it.I will say I don’t think these would be the best footwear if you’re working on a busy, med-surg type floor where you’re taking tens of thousands of steps each day - they are perfect for an ICU, however, where you’re often doing more standing than walking.

good product but...
turns out it didnt have the arch support i was hoping it will have, my mild plantar fasciitis acted up again after wearing this for a period of time. my coworkers who dont have my problems love it and wear it to this day though. so give it a try and maybe it will be a good fit for you.

Best working shoes ever!
The media could not be loaded. After 12 to 14 hour shifts no foot or leg pain. Comfortable all day! Definitely buying another pair!

Great for the OR/Long Clinic Days
I effin love these shoes. I'm a medical student in a busy hospital, on my feet from ~6am - 6pm, and these are the only things that prevent my legs from giving out in the middle of it all. On my first surgical rotation, I spent about a week in sneakers before I made the switch, and the difference was night and day. Not only am I actually able to stand for the duration of clinic/the operative procedures, but I also don't have to worry about getting blood/bodily fluids on these cause I can just wipe them off with a Cavi wipe. I'd say about 60% of the residents on my current service also wear this brand of OR shoe too.I wear a 9 shoe (8.5 in heels, sometimes up to a 9.5) and I got the 38/39. I actually find it to be a little bit big: a true 38 would probably fit a bit better. I prefer to wear inserts, since I find that the nubbed bottom creates too much friction through my socks. NOTA BENE: the insert that comes with the shoes is NOT supposed to last! It is a TEMPORARY insert so that you can feel what the shoe is like with and without it, so that you don't waste $10 on the inserts that you might not end up liking anyway. And though these look narrow, they are actually decently roomy in the toe box (my friend with "wide" feet tried them on and said this.)Haven't tried the style without ventilation holes so I can't say how the ventilation compares, but my feet (in combo with compression socks and inserts) don't get overly hot in these. Having had blood fall on my feet today, I can also say that the ventilation holes haven't been a problem so far - I think their small enough that capillary action prevents transmission of fluids (of a reasonable amount) through to socks underneath.

Great but sick of the constant price hike
These are the ONLY shoes I wear for 12 hr hospital shifts. I discovered them while I was a dialysis nurse working 14hr shifts and they were literally heaven sent. My feet would hurt and my legs would ache after work but that stopped completely with these. I don't use the comfort insoles because I enjoy the feel of the nubby sole. Just so disappointed that every time I need a new pair the price has increased. When I first started buying them 2012, they were $65 then they went to $84 approx 2014. Bought another pair 2016 for $84 and now a yr later they're $94! They're very comfortable but sheesh they're still RUBBER! I wish there was something else that was as comfortable because I would certainly stop buying these. Anyway, I claim them on my taxes as a work expense. At first fit they feel ever so slightly small but then they're perfect after a couple wear so I'd say they are true to size. I have a high instep and these are perfect for me. I have worn Dansko and Sanita only to suffer with painful numb feet. I am on pair #4 in about 5 years. One of the four pairs is still fine bc they're not worn as often bc of the color. My others have worn down because I kind of land slightly on the sides of my heel when I walk. I never realize they are worn down though because my feet still feel really good. Fluids can and do get through the ventilation holes just doesn't really happen that much. If you step in a puddle the bottom of your feel will be wet from the bottom vent hole. I think they're great, I'm just annoyed by the incessant price increase.
