Plenty of action
Exciting as usual

Tense, fast action
For me this was a welcome return to the dark world of Jericho Quinn, an American undercover enforcer with exceptionally authoritative backing. A little slow at times, the plot thickens chapter by chapter, rising to an explosive climax.

Brilliant book, but won't be reading anymore
Great book, brilliant characters and a fast story line.Follows on from the previous books in the series, keeps the story line continuous, but each book has a story of itself i.e. you don't need to read previous, to enjoy the current, but it does help with some of the back storiesNow the crunch. Next book in the series is 4yrs old and £6.47. Sorry won't pay that for an electronic book. I know we have to pay VAT, but it's electronic, there are no material costs

Another good read
I have found all this series of novels to be entertaining and a first class light read. I can recommend it to anyone who enjoys this genre of book.

A new action hero
Jericho Quinn is another character I have grown to love. Up there with the likes of Benedict Hope (Scott Mariani), Jack Ryan (Tom Clancy) and Scarecrow (Matthew Reilly). I have downloaded them all onto my Kindle and I never tire of reading them.

RIPOFF Publishers?? or Amazon??
l would have given a higher score as it was quite a good read, however, it seems that when a customer starts reading a series on Amazon kindle the next book in the series seems to increase in price. For example the next book in the series (Time of Attack) was originally priced at £3.33 on kindle, when I went to buy the price had jumped to £6.17, I did not buy this book and contacted Amazon to find out why the price had suddenly jumped and was told it was nothing to do with Amazon but the publishers. I am not sure I believe this. I do not expect this review to be printed, but we will see!!!!.

Close Calls are Jerichoʼs Forte
Jericho is tasked with finding Baba Yaga, a Soviet-era nuclear bomb. Given the age of the bomb, its stability is uncertain. Adding to the complexity, a madman desires the bomb to ignite a war, and individuals from another country are also pursuing it.Most of the crew is involved in this mission, except for Veronica. Itʼs Veronica, not Kim, who preoccupies Jerichoʼs thoughts. The bomb is believed to be in South America. As readers, we embark on an adrenaline-fueled journey with Jerichoʼs team, including an intense motorcycle race that neither Jericho nor those he is pursuing finish. The end will be take your breath away. Forget Jason Bourne. Jericho Quinn is the real deal.

One of the best writers .
I have not read a bad Marc Cameron book yet . It's hard to find books these days that are not full of dumb dialog with every 2nd word the F word . I really appreciate Marcs style of writing and he shows a strong moral character in the way he words his books as well as the stories are very well thought out and flow very nicely . If you have half a brain i highly recommend any of his books .

Another great read
I really am warming to Marc Cameron and Jericho Quinn. It’s a credit to Cameron that as a speed reader I have started to slow down and enjoy the detail of his descriptions, be they locations, ambiance, geography or people. I find myself even occasionally back tracking to identify and develop minor characters influencing the total scene. It’s a writing style as an older reader I associate with Uris, Michener and Follett in more modern times. Yes, this it is an action yarn and I’ve worked close to people like this and the hero’s bleed and die. However the indestructible male in me wants to be there, and these books allow me that escape! I will continue the saga, even if I do have to read a little slower! I am conscious of the slow development of the love life of this very testosterone driven hero. There were a few hints in State of Emergency so maybe he will break out soon! However, in my day loyalty, fidelity and true love meant something. Wouldn’t it be great if that could extend to the inevitable Jericho Quinn streaming movies.
