FlagPole Buddy 106755-RWB RV Flag Pole Red White and Blue Solar Beacon

The light itself is pretty neat. Bright enough to be seen at a distance. Unfortunately, when the battery eventually outlasts it's recharging ability, you can't replace the battery with either a standard battery or another rechargeable one. I'm sure it would have been a simple thing to design it where you could replace the battery. Also, I would like to see it where you could select the color of the flash individually rather than the Red, White, and Blue flashing. Give you either the choice of that pattern or individual colors. If it had that then I would have given it a 5-star rating. Still pretty cool. When the battery runs out of its rechargeability I'll just take it apart to see if I can replace the battery myself. Either way, I would still need to buy another one, or not, so it doesn't really matter. Maybe that's why they designed it like that too.

This light worked great for a recent music festival. We used attached it to the top of our camp flagpole to find our way home late late at night. A few words of caution about this beacon:- It only has one mode that cycles through white, red, and blue, which isn't exactly the most reassuring if you know what I mean.- It's also tough to tell whether or not it's on. The instructions say to put your hand over the solar panel and click the on/off button for it to start flashing, but that doesn't always work.- Hard to turn on/off. The button itself is hidden in a little opening that isn't easy to access, so you'll need to get a key or squeeze your pinky finger in the hole to turn it on/offSuggestions:- Making it easier to turn on/off would make everyone's life easier with this beacon- Allowing for multiple modes - on (white), on (blue), on (red), flash (white), flash (blue), flash (red) would make it much more useful

This is my second one purchased. The first one lasted about 8 months of constant use. The second works fine but the color sequence is out not correct. Mine flashes white, blue, red instead of red, white, blue. My first one flashed in the correct sequence. Unfortunately this is the only vendor that has this item and we just have to live with the poor quality.

I will not be returning this as it does work it didn’t light until we had it in a totally dark room. When I tried to cover the solar panel and photo cell it wouldn’t light and I tried the switch both ways. I have found another place to put it so I am keeping both. Just bill me. Love this product.

Nice concept but used it twice and it stopped working. We travel so by the time I was able to do a return (at 4 weeks) I was told I’m past my return window. $50 thrown away. Don’t waste your money.

I really liked the idea of this light. It advertises that it flashes red white blue. But, it flashes white blue red with a pause after the red. I returned it and got another thinking it was mid-wired. Nope. Second one did the same. Very disappointed

Just received today. It arrived broken! The stem was detached from the main body. It looks like the cheap plastic steam was poorly glued to the main buddy. For about $50, this is NOT worth it. AT ALL! Nice concept, poor craftsmanship.

The media could not be loaded.  This garbage didn’t even work for 24 hours. I am so disappointed in this light. Another pile of crap from China I suppose. Do not waste you money
