Ergon GP3 Grip Shift Grips

The ergonomics of this grip is second to none - period! You would be extremely hard pressed to find anything better.HOWEVER....The implementation in design is a whole other issue. Kind of like German Ergonomic Engineer - Marries Slick Headed Plaid Suit Salesman...I purchased these for my wife's bicycle to resolve some critical wrist issues that she has. Upon installing them - I could immediately see that they were going to be problematic to live with. They simply do not provide the strength to support her forward force on the bars - especially at the little "ram-horn" feature. They're Plastic. And they only clamp in place at the very tip - which extends off of the handle bars.To properly make them... well - better, requires some sort of insertable rod that would insert deep into the handle bars and anchor into place.I'm not sure what I'm going to do. My wife's wrist issues forces me to make this grip work

These are a delight to grasp during my daily commute. Top scientists in my personal employ estimate a 4000% increase in control efficiency and dynamics, while I can personally say that the bullhorns dramatically improve my animal magnetism; certain species seem more susceptible than others.I really don't know much about the range of bike handlebar widths and angles and dimensions of spatial projection, but these were incredibly easy to mount on a standard bike purchased from WalMart. They were also about a quarter the value of my bike, making them my most expensive accessory and second most useful (right after my pannier bags). After just two rides this seemed a negligible concern, as the feel is simply incomparable with holding onto grimy, easily degraded rubber.The nightmarish scenario of having to slide on grips is something I've never encountered and would never want to after installing these. It's literally a four step process that takes almost as long to read as perform: slide on, apply clamp (the horn bar end), insert end plug, tighten clamp. The proper angle was fairly easily to determine for someone with no experience using different types of grips.

Great product. Fit perfectly with the on the handlebar shifters that were equipped on my sons bicycle. The palm portion is adjustable separate from the bar-end portion so each can be adjusted to an individual's preference. I suggest going to Ergon's website to determine which product will work best for your bicycle and then order it through Amazon.

I like these grips better than any of the bicycle grips I have used ( and I have used many). Like many, my hands get very sweaty when I am doing exercise. One of the worst thing that can happen is for you lose your grip when you are turning or going up a hill. With these grips your hands will not slide off the end. Also. if you ride a lot you know that your grip becomes tired and weaker the longer you ride. One of the best things about this grip is that you will find that your hands will be supported and more comfortable than the standard round grip. You will notice the difference immediately. Highly recommend!

VERY comfortable grips. They act almost like shock absorbers in my hands. I would have given them 5 stars, if they did not have a minor design flaw in that the clamp is not really long enough. If the clamp was bigger, it would have 5 stars.I had a problem with the old foam grips, in that I broke my arm just behind the wrist a few years back. So I had an issue with my hand going numb after about an hour riding. These grips took the pressure off my wrist.

At very i was about to send this back due to some misunderstanding,anyway i am keeping it and i would recommend it to anyone.

Very Comfortable grips that do *almost* work on a 2014 Brompton H folding bike. The thing to bear in mind that at certain angles, the grip pushes the bike about an inch off balance. Doesnt affect the fold in anyway, just makes the bike a touch wobblier when folded.

Je pensais que les ergots etaient un peu plus longs ainsi que la poignée. J'ai conservé un bout de l'ancienne pour avoir la bonne longueur. Sinon, vraiment confortable et agreable. Le prix reste toutefois exagéré à mon gout

ORIBIKE　M10の様な小径車の欠点は転倒しやすい事！雨上がりの葉っぱで思いっきり滑って転倒して、お気に入りのウレタン製の超軽量グリップが破損！！このグリップは一般では販売されていない！これを機会に、長時間の使用でも疲れにくいエゴグリップに交換を決め、旧グリップから長さを調べ、GP3グリップショートをアマゾンで購入！即、届き、箱を開けてみると、男性の手には明らかに小さい！最初は失敗したと思いました！しかし、今更返品する訳にもいかず、再びロングを購入して装着するにしても長すぎて取り付け困難と言う事で、このGP3ショートを装着しました！このグリップを装着してブレーキとシフターの位置を移動すると・・・あれ？ピッタリ合う！グリップが短いが若干ブレーキの部分も含んで握る状態になります（私は安全の為、必ずサイクルグローグをつけているので、本当に違和感が無いです）凄く、シフターやブレーキ操作がし易いです。おまけに、とがった部分を握っても中指と薬指で強くは握れないがブレーキも操作できます。前より、ハンドルの外側を握る事で転倒も減るかもしれませんし、ERGONのグリップは確りして、軽い！取り付けの際角度調整の裏側にもメモリが表記していて左右角度を合わせやすいです。固定する6角ネジも各1個しか無いが確り固定できます。大きな手の私でもショートを装着して使えます。操作性を向上する目的で選択するのも良いと思います。

20インチの小径電動アシスト自転車に取り付けしました。サイクリングで50〜60キロ走ることが多く、純正のグリップでは手首から肩まで痛くなるためいろいろ探してこのGP3にたどり着きました。似たようなデザインのもっと価格の安いものが沢山ありますがどうもレビュー等を見ると耐久性がイマイチなようなので少し高いけど購入決定。実際に使用してみるとグリップを握らずに手のひらを乗せるだけでも安定して走行出来るので近場への買い物程度の距離でも楽に感じます。そしてエンドバーがあることで長距離を走る場面でもハンドルの持ち方をいろいろ変えられるので腕全体と肩がとても楽になりました。GP2とGP3で迷いましたが自分は手が大きいのでGP3がちょうど良いサイズ感で正解でした。ただ、取り付ける自転車が右のみグリップシフトなので「ロング/ショート」のサイズが良かったのですが、GP2にはあってもGP3にはラインナップに無いのが残念。「ロング/ロング」を買って右グリップをカットするのは嫌だったので、「ショート/ショート」を購入して左の純正グリップを一部切り残してサイズを合わせました。使い心地は星5つレベルでとても素晴らしいですが、サイズのラインナップに星一つマイナスです。
