Canson papers are of high quality and this price is a bargain. The brushes are a nice selection for a student or amateur painter, certainly, and are a nice perk at this price.

The paper is very good, the brushes are of regular quality. I use the material to paint with gouache and watercolor. The paper works well, both in roughness, absorption and thickness. The brushes are of low quality and wear out very quickly. I would suggest looking for an offer that includes more paper without brushes.

This is my very first choice for watercolor paper - as long as it is available, I will be buying it; it is that simple.

I have used this paper as a backing for my collages for over a year now, and I love it. However, this time I made the mistake of ordering it from Jerry's Artarama, and they squeezed it into a box that was too small for it, causing it to warp badly. I thought if I kept it under pressure for a couple of months, it would straighten out, but if anything, it has gotten worse over time. They ruined it, and now it's too late to return it.

Quality

The cover on both pads fell off as soon as I took them out of the box. The paper itself is ok, not the greatest quality, but good for beginner practicing.
