Definitely love the bulk of the product, it's just not spicy enough to be considered "hot". As in, it barely has any kick at all. But it works for what I need it to work for.

started my first batch of kimchi

got this for a mild spicy kimchi as I read in reviews that it is on the mild side and it is on the mild side so good there. When I opened this product I opened two other products 1 red chile powder , the other a hot red pepper flake from different brand . out of the 3 bags ROM AMERICA 1 WEEK LATER WAS FULL OF WHITE FURRY MOLD !!!!!!!! It is a vacuum sealed bag after opening it allowed enough air in to kick the mold off due to product holding moister is my thought . sealed the bag pushed air out of bag 1 week later the bag looked like a blown up balloon from gases being produced the mold is not just on top layer of product but all the way thru even to bottom . now if this is Some how a storage mistake on my part well sorry for the negative review . how ever I don't see how And had I not been paying attention to the look of the flakes when I added to my recipe well I'm sure nothing good would of come from it ....................................................
