Wanted to add a light bulb to my Smart Life app that my electric radiators are already using so that l don't have loads apps working in the background, so I put into Amazon Smart Life LED bulb. This bulb came up so I bought it. Unfortunately I discovered it doesn't work with the Smart Life app and had to download the Sengled app. Saying that the app is easy to use and easily connects too my Alexa and Google home.

After following the ionstructions the light bulb worked perfectly with Alexa but your wireless network MUST be on 2.4Ghz. The latest hubs usually have duel 2.4 and 5Ghz settings.

I got this light for a elderly relative who was struggling to acccess the light switches.As a complete novice to smart lights and connecting them i expected alot of hassle.It was very simple to download the app for the light on my phone,connect it tothe internet and Alexa.My Aunt is very happy with it,i am impressed i managed to do it and going to buy her more lights to voice activate.

All these things say easy to set up yes if you have a degree in science or patience. Absolute nightmare getting a youngster round to do it

These are the worst purchase I have made in a long time - I have two bulbs in my bedroom and it has taken so much time messing about with the app and Alexa skills that I could have got up out of bed a thousand times to switch the bloody things off with the switch
