So, as I was doing the first steps, it didn’t seem right. The illustration showed no holes on one of the pieces at the angle presented, but it turns out that it should have been the side with the holes. (My picture shows the correct position for those first two pieces.) I realized it a few attachments in and had to unscrew them all to fix it. This made the connections weaker and I just hoped that having it all put together would make up for that. It’s not terrible in the end, but like all things put together with these unusual screws, it’s not very forgiving when being moved around. Definitely don’t try to push it on carpeted floor. The finished product adds to the beauty of the room.

The instructions aren't ENTIRELY clear. At first it was smooth sailing...."I've got this!" I thought. Wrong. One of the boards wasn't labeled so I had to do process of elimination. Then, the instructions said to use 4 pieces of "C" which were the screws. It only came with 4 and they were already accounted for. Turns out they meant "D" which were the wooden dowels. Finally, it wasn't always clear which way to face a couple boards because it would work either way. Not knowing exactly which was front and which was back of a piece at that point (around step 2 or 3),it ended up having the ugly side facing towards the front... I had to assemble and disassemble this 3 times to finally get it right. The manufacturer needs to revise their instructions immensely with better verbiage of specifics. When it was all said and done after taking 6 x's the amount of time it should, it's a beautiful sturdy piece of furniture for my toddler's room. Being that it's marketed for a child's toy/book storage, the corners I feel should be bevelled/rounded as well. The hardware is great quality; no stripping out and all lined up perfectly. So for all the frustration I wanted to give it 3 stars but only knocked off one because it is a really great quality, beautiful, sturdy piece for a great price.

Good product, arrived undamaged. Took longer than expected to assemble, but that's because I got ahead of the instructions. Take it slow and read a couple steps ahead so you don't have to unassemble things.

The shelf is great! It fit perfectly in the corner and has my kids toys and books organized. I love the color and the space for the toys at the bottom. Everything is great except it’s missing key holes to screw it together. I thought I was doing something wrong but it’s missing holes. I was able to complete the piece without screwing in those that were missing but I feel like it’s an incomplete piece and could possibly be dangerous later on if there’s too much stuff on it.

Love this. Gives child access to toys and it’s super bottom heavy. Not to worried about falling over. Still anchor it down of course but other big dressers still make me nervous even when anchored down.

Overall it is a great toy chest, it holds a lot of toys and the bottom compartments hold the larger toys, which is fantastic. It did take some time to assemble and the back board on mine was cracked, I think it happened in shipping, it was packed really well but the box did have a tear in it. I just used some black electrical tape and it covered the crack and it isn’t noticeable. Great value for the price. Very sturdy.

The product is VERY sturdy and well made. Definitely suggest having a second person to help put it together but it is not impossible to put together alone either. Looks so nice and will be a great addition to my daughters room!

We like this shelf, lots of storage for toys in the cubbies. The upper portions do not fit large picture books well but overall happy with the sturdiness and appearance and value for money spent.
