I would like the manufacturer to say what it is made of. You answered other questions; but not that one....which makes me want to skip this product

It is made of vinyl. "Polyvinyl chloride (PVC or vinyl) is the most toxic plastic for our health and the environment. Yeah, it's BPA, phthalate free and latex free. That is a blind to those who don't look any further than empty statements from companies that want you to but their products. PVC releases toxic fumes. The Center for Health, Environment and Justice (CHEJ) released a study a few years back, “Volatile Vinyl: The New Shower Curtain's Chemical Smell,” where they revealed that PVC shower curtains can release over 100 toxic chemicals. The International Agency for Research on Cancer has determined that vinyl chloride is carcinogenic to people, and EPA has determined that vinyl chloride is a human carcinogen. Google it folks. PVC has been around since the 1970s. You drink water out of it now. Dihydrogen monoxide... sounds scary. This chemical can literally destroy mountains. That is water and is a chemical. You drink it to live. Working in retail has shown me a lot. 95% of people "believe Santa is real." Lots of ignorant people EVERYWHERE!

How comfortable is the mat when you're sitting in the tub? I'm thinking about my kids and specifically my 10 month old and how comfy the mat is?

its wonderful and not rough feeling at all.. stays attached to bottom of tub with no slipping.. and it allows kids toys to be picked up quickly at end of bath by rolling it each way to middle.. I would suggest this mat for kids as well as older folks.. its comfortable to just sit on while taking extended baths..

Is it advisable to hang up the mat after using? (over a towel rack or shower door handle.) Thanks.

The instructions that come with it specifically say that you should hang it to dry. I would find that irritating and probably impossible if I didn't have glass shower doors, one of which has an otherwise useless internal towel rack. I'm sure it's not entirely necessary to hang it, but doing so will probably increase the life of the product and prevent mold from building up.

Has anyone had this for a while and can speak to how mold resistant it really is? Thanks!

I have had two of these mats, with the first one purchased in 2018. I haven’t had an issue with mold! I love being able to wash it in the washer on a quick hot wash once every week or two weeks and a regular time once a month with vinegar to kill anything. We use this for daily showers for our kids. Works amazing!!

Works great!

Very nice tub mat!

This tub mat is soft to stand on. Water drains nicely. Stays in place. Machine washable is a huge plus.

Good quality bath mat

This bath mat is great—it sticks well to the tub and the texture is not slippery. Love the drainage hole design that helps prevent water pooling. I also like that it can be thrown in the washing machine but I haven’t tested this feature yet. It also did not have a funky smell straight out of the package—another mat I had ordered smelled toxic so this one was a keeper when it didn’t have any plastic fumes. My toddler is safe and stable during his baths thanks to this mat!

Great, but still a little slippery

Great for my kids, but still a little slippery. It’s a great size, and works well. However, the surface is a little more slippery than I would expect for a non slip mat. It seems mold and mildew resistant and I like that it can be washed.

Safe and secure

Love this mat. Decided on the 35" clear and I am happy with the fit and the (non) color. Love the added measure of security.I'm hoping this lasts a good long time, but I will definitely purchase it again.

Great Mat to prevent slips

Great quality mat that fit our standard tub perfectly. Covers all necessary areas of the tub and is comfortable to stand on due to its thickness. item had no plastic smells and was extremly easy to install.

Excellent, high quality bath mats

I got a 2 pack of these when I saw the tiny one my MIL was using. We love her with all of our hearts, and we don’t want her to fall in the shower. She loves it and it covers the majority of the flavor and is comfy and secure to stand on.We use the second one in mine and my wife’s shower. We enjoy being in there together, and it’s nice to have sure footing when things get…slippery.

Very secure!

Love it! No Longer slipping and afraid I am going to fall in the tub. Suction cups are very secure. Also, like the fact that it is washable. I got blue, and it is a very pretty color blue.
