Unnecessary Holes for Pockets
I work for Deliveroo, so I am frequently out cycling in the pouring rain and need something that keeps me dry. Unfortunately, the trousers have two holes on each side which are intended so you can reach your trouser pockets underneath. When cycling, the rain leaks through and gets the sides of my hips wet!I am glad I did not buy 2 pairs instead of 1 because these are inadequate for my job.The material itself is fine, I suppose, but I hate the holes for pockets.

Not waterproof, water ‘resistent’
If they were sold as ‘water resistent’ I would have given them 5 stars, as I would have known what I was getting and for the price that would have been good, resistent to water but not waterproof by any stretch of the imagination, I wore them this morning on a 15 minute motorbike ride, top speed probably about 40miles an hour in medium to heavy rain, when I get to my destination and took them off my groin area was sodden wet, so my pants which is literally the worst area to get wet imo, they will essentially keep rain off as long as no rain rests on them so if you are going to get them for motorbike use I would suggest not to, unless your skint and need something which is better than nothing.

Breathable only through holes for the pockets
Exactly what I needed for the work and while pressure washing. However, even if they are waterproof, you will get water in your pants which will actually be sweat. These are definitely waterproof but not breathable and the only fault is the material. You obviously can't get 2 in 1.Easy to pull on and size ordered is perfect fitting. It goes easily over thick clothing and still gives you plenty of room to move and feel comfortable.I've seen people complaining that they do not have pockets but only the holes through which you can reach pockets. This could be both beneficial and downside. I've slipped my phone multiple times to the bottom of my leg as I didn't get used to it and I was expecting the actual hole to be a pocket. Luckily bottom of the trousers always caught the phone on time and it was safe and undamaged.

Sizing is definitely small and miserly, but they’re budget.
Sizing is way out or deceptive. I oredered a Large, I take 34 inch waste trousers, and in most sensible clothing I’m a medium to large. The large I have just received are at best a medium, more realistically a small medium. However, that is with the elasticate waste in a relaxed state. Fully stretched to its fullest extent, possible just about a large, but they are supposed to be over trousers, so shouldn’t really be at full stretch to fit as then they will be uncomfortable and tight, confirmed when I tried them on over skin tight joggers.Rule of thumb with the budget end of clothing is they always skimp as much as possible on materials, they certainly have with these. I shan’t be returning them, not really worth the fuss and expense for anyone, they’ll go to a charity shop instead and make a smallish person dryer and happy.

Good value
Again I have had these trousers before but unlike the jacket these should hold up for a continuous amount time (2+ hours) in heavy rain if just walking as for on a bike they can wet out when the rain is landing continuously whereas walk the rain runs off. I bought an XXL for the bike so they don't ride up your leg and expose your socks. Buy bigger size if using for cycling for ease of movement
