HELLA 012588011 Motorcycle Series Black 12V Disc Horn Kit (Universal Fit-Set/Box)

Great UTV horn, loud enough and durable. Highly recommend.

I am reviewing the two horn kit that includes both high & low tone horns. I installed these on my 2013 Honda NC700X to replace the stock horn. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. They are only slightly louder than the OEM horn (maybe 2x - 3x louder), but the two individual tones combine to produce a distinctive sound that will easily get the attention of other drivers. The horns draw a maximum of 1.5 amps each (3 A total), so I was able to install them without an additional relay on the horn switch. The included mounting brackets made it easy to mount them in the same location as the OEM horn. Time will tell how waterproof they are, or how long they will last. They came nicely packaged in a little box, with cardboard dividing the middle so that the two horns don't scratch against each other. A mounting bolt or electrical connectors are not included. Suggest searching Amazon for "6.3 mm spade connector" for wiring. I made a custom split wiring harness to connect them to the OEM wiring (see photos).

These are the dual disc horns kit. Came with the horns and mounting brackets. According to several reviews of these horns, they worked without a relay, so I was willing to give them a try. They mounted perfectly using the bolts for my engine guards, and since they're not polarity-sensitive, it was easy to wire them up. I ran a couple of "Y" wires off the OEM wires to both horns, then tucked the wires up so they're out of sight. Pleased with the sound output of these horns, much louder than the single Hella disc horn, which in turn was louder than the OEM single disc horn.

Easy install, decently loud, but the tone is not quite what I want for a large bagger motorcycle. Better match for a scooter.

Works as an oem equivalent, the old horn on my 2014 triumph speed triple had started to corrode and this was a great replacement

Product was packaged well. Easy plug-in play no hassle. Looks good and works. Products description look wise is good however it is not very loud at all. Horn sounds like a quiet version of the roadrunner.. possibly the double horn set up would sound better.

I have these mounted on my 2018 Yamaha zuma Because the factory horns are just not loud enough. When I do use them , they draw a lot of looks Because they are so loud.

Installed these on my zx14 and one horn does not work at all and the other works intermittently. Would not recommend.

I was expecting some stronger and heavier sound, considering the prescription, but this set is for smaller cars. It reminds me of “beep beep woody woodpecker cartoons”.

ボンネビルT100 2020年式に取り付け。純正のホーンが鳴らないことに気が付き交換。 ほぼほぼポン付けできます。 音は悪くない。（人それぞれの好みだと思いますが） 耐久性についてはまだ未知数のため星4としました。
