Very different and cool. Different angles and light add to the color combos. Unique girlfriend loved this unique gift.

I bought one of these to use as a "conversation starter" (a.k.a. glorified paperweight) at the office, however I was surprised to find that after just one day there were visible scuffs and scratches on the coating on at least a couple of the faces of the cube. I didn't notice any damage the first time I took it out of the package - which I didn't do until already at my desk - and I handled it with extreme care throughout the day, often only by the corners, as somebody used to handling photographic negatives and lenses.It is a lot of fun to look at, but I can only imagine that this would last the average child about 10 minutes at school without damage, let alone being passed around to kids in a classroom, as hinted at by some photos. Seems it would be very easy to add a clear coating on the outside to protect the pigmented coating.If you are not bothered by scratches then it's a great product, but as somebody who likes to preserve their "toys" so they last for a long time, I am really disappointed that it's so easily damaged, even in a clean, careful environment.

We love all the colors as the cube is turned. Such a fun gift to give!

Gave the cube to my adult son (who had indicated an interest in it) for Christmas. It was smaller than I anticipated but I hadn’t read the description carefully. My son said:“Simple, and quite a cool effect! The cube doesn’t have patterns of colors on its sides like you might expect. Rather, the colors mix (like how crayons mix) based on the direction you look through the cube.It’s a little smaller than you might expect, about half the size of a Rubik’s cube. Perfect size for a desk accessory.There’s no sign of delamination on the faces’ coloring gels, like some people reported.Overall, a simple but neat looking visual toy!”

This cube is surprisingly captivating and calming. There's just something about the purity of the colors. I keep it on my desk and often just rotate it and gaze at the colors. I even got a rotating lighted stand for it but still pick it up all the time. I even got it as gifts.

This is a nice little gift for kids who appreciate small colorful things. It’s well made and pretty. I gave it as a gift to a friend and he really liked it.

I was a little worried when the packaging came because it was totally smashed and messed up. Luckily the cube inside was okay. It was a gift for my kid, so I knew the messed up packaging wouldn't be noticed by him- had it been a gift for anyone else I would have wanted a replacement because it made it look used. But the cube itself is good. A little pricey, but it is cool to see the colors.

I bought this cmy cube for my 10 year old nephew for Christmas, and he loved it. He was fascinated by it and was admiring it the entire time I was visiting. It prompted a great conversation about color mixing, and he began using the cube as a reference in his drawing. I highly recommend this product. It is of good, durable quality, and it is a wonderful conversation piece.
