Used this to sharpen my bread knife. Due to the tapered design I was able to fit it perfectly into the serrations as I sharpened. The grip was comfortable and the grit effective. It works.

The retractable sharpener is protected and doesn't get broken. It does an excellent job on sharpening hooks, I haven't really used it to sharpen serrated knives yet. I am going to try that next.
