Burns well but messy to cut
I've been wanting to get some webbing for a while. The reel is a good size and has plenty there for me to work with. It's a bit fluffy, but I expect that's because of the polyester in it. Using decent fabric scissors, generally I could get it to cut fairly straight. There would often be a little bit of a bobble left on the furthest corner, but that didn't seem to be too much of a problem. On the other hand, it is messy and will shower bits of fluff down on each cut.The webbing does fray easily, however, it also burns and seals the end well without turning black, which is ideal. I have a Brother A150 and with a standard universal needle, it sewed it just fine going across the webbing at double thickness. Going down the webbing at double thickness, my machine would sometimes struggle a tiny bit to pull it though, even though it has long dog teeth. Having said that, with a bit of pushing and shoving, it went through and once going, was absolutely fine. The stitches were generally straight, with the occasional one going a tiny bit off. However, I'm sure these types of things are down to user error or my machine. Overall though, it's good webbing and does the job.

Strong, deep colours and so very useful
I usually have at least some webbing in my sewing drawers but recently I used up the last lot to make some straps to hold a canopy in place and was very interested in trying this 50 meter roll. The webbing is about an inch wide and the black and white checkerboard design means that it will be suitable for most applications, plus a roll of 50 meters is long enough to keep me going for quite a while. It's incredibly strong and doesn't stretch at all.I intend to make two straps with ratchet fastenings to fit around our suitcases to provide better identification when travelling. I also want to create a number of straps that are secured with Velcro so that I can easily roll and unroll the greenhouse cover to allow or block the sun as necessary. For the price this is an excellent buy and one you won't regret having in your sewing box.

Makes great dog leads
Excellent webbing. Have been buying webbing like this for 7 years.I use it to make my Huskamute a 50 metre long line lead. I cut off about 8 inches off one end to create an additional line, and i sew heavy duty trigger clips to it and to the main line and then sew the cut off to the main lead to create 2 lines at the end, both to clip to my dogs harness for double protection, so if one snaps the other will hold. I then sew a handle on the other end.I have a sewing machine so this is a pretty easy job and it saves me a fortune in buying one ready made.Lines normally last about a year before i replace them because they wear out from dragging on the floor, and get knots and things. They are invaluable however if you have dogs that cannot be let off the lead.

Lots of webbing - just don't leave it out in the sun.
This webbing is quite thin, although has a high breaking weight. It's exactly the same as the orange ties you can get in the pound shop to lash items down to your roof rack or whatever. It comes in one large flat reel as shown. This cuts fairly cleanly (although a soldering iron or match will seal the end from fraying). It's certainly strong - I used it to make ties for my roof rack to hold down a couple of fence panels that weigh around 70Kg together, and it held admirably.Remember that you don't really want to leave this out in the sun. U.V. light breaks down polypropylene and it will become brittle and weak. Always check and give it a good tug before relying on it's strength if it's been outside for a while.

Excellent for all sorts of things
This is good value for 50 metres for under a tenner. It is really strong polypropylene which makes it hard to cut cleanly but with the right sharp scissors, it is possible. The colour selection is great. So far I have been using it for trim on clothing, specifically for the top edge of pockets and found that ends can be sealed by carefully applying flame/heat rather than bulky folding. It looks smart and wears well. I can also see, with a tensile strength of 440kg that it will be great for bag straps or for supporting items attached to a bag. I haven't tried that yet but intend to when I next make a bag.

Strong and colourful
This is the sort of webbing that I use quite a lot in crafting for bag straps and handles although I would normally choose a cotton based product. This is about an inch in width and has hardly any stretch in it and feels really strong. I do like the brightness of colour that the man made fibre gives. It is easy to sew by hand or machine but I would say finish off the cut ends well as the webbing unravels really easily by pulling on the weft thread. I think you could probably heat seal the end but I haven’t tried it yet. Very good to repair or replace broken straps too. A good product at a fair price.
