TRESemmé Hair Dryer | 2200w | Salon Curls | Diffuser

I bought this because I have curly hair and needed a hairdryer with a diffuser attachment; there are no problems with the attachment; however, the 'three heat setting plus cool air setting' is a sham! The lowest setting is REALLY hot, too hot to have your hand in front of for more than a second and it burns your scalp. If its too hot for your hand, its too hot for your hair(especially if you are going to be drying it regularly with the hairdryer). So I tried the 'cool' setting, which blows so fast that it has completely blasted my curly hair and made it insatiably frizzy!! Completely useless.

I got this for my sister as a gift and on her first use it ended up like this. I can't even get a refund because I'd have to get it from her then post it back in a limited amount of time.

The 3 settings are called 'Ultimate control with three heat/speed settings' However there is no control of heat - each of the 3 speed settings gives air of exactly the same temperature - I was disappointed with this innacuracy as I bought it to replace a hairdryer which gave me 3 heat settings with 3 speed settings which this is not.Very lightweight and quiet, however the electric flex is not particularly long.It does the job of drying hair but is not as described

So lightweight compared to my last dryer. I wish I had found it years ago when I struggled with back problems that meant I simply could not lift my old one.Very quiet and does not get too hot and the thin attachment is ideal for drying my hair without blowing all the waves out. So far I have not had too much success with the diffuser but that could be because either a) it's been years since I used one so am out of practice or b) lockdown has meant no hairdressers appointments. My hair has grown so long the weight is dragging all the natural curls down.But I will happily keep this just for the weight factor alone.

The hairdryer arrived very well packaged and everything inside was well protected from bumps and knocks. I was pleasantly surprised by how light the hairdryer is. Having a chronic illness that affects my joints and muscles, this is essential for me.The hairdryer itself was disappointing, as I had bought it to use with the diffuser but unfortunately it is far too hot on my scalp for it to be used for this purpose. The hairdryer does not have separate heat and speed controls so again this isn’t the best for using with a diffuser which needs a slower speed and a heat that doesn’t burn your ears and scalp!!I would have returned it but unfortunately I no longer have it’s box so I’ll keep my eyes open for one with separate heat and speed controls.
