Followed instructions and cooked for 5 minutes. The water boiled over into the cups over flowing into the pot. Ruined bkfast. Cleaned and redid but only used 1/2 the water. 3 cooked fine but 1 got water in it and was bad. Mabe I'll figure out how to adjust and perfect process.

A good product
These do what they are claimed to do and are well made. I recommend starting with room temperature eggs because, for me, the resulting eggs are better than when I start with cold eggs. The cups stand up well and are stable in a steamer pot. They are well designed.I tried these just to see how well they work compared to conventionally poached eggs, and I do prefer the conventionally poached eggs, which are easy to make with about the same amount of time and attention. I do like the shape of the eggs cooked in these cups. It's a good presentation. These can be versatile if you are so inclined. For example, beat an egg as for scrambling, mix in some ham or scallions or herbs etc, and cook the mix in these cups for a nicely shaped egg preparation. Doing it that way is easier than when using ramekins, especially for removing the cooked egg.

Very pleased
I have successfully used these twice and look forward to them hopefully lasting a long time.I have a 7"D/2"H fry pan with clear glass lid from an egg poacher whose peeling cups had to be trashed. I'm now poaching my eggs in that pan, in these silcone cups, in 1" of water, as directed. Nothing else is needed to brace the cups. While the silicone cups are a bit taller than the pan, the tall sides flop down, anyway; and no harm is caused by them being pushed slightly by the pan lid. While the ad cites "egg standers", there is not some special "stand"...I think they are referring to the design of the bottom of the cups themselves.I have a small glass spray bottle I use for applying oil to cook/bakeware, to avoid aerosols. I find a very small squirt from that (also tried non-aerosol avocado oil spray), to lubricate them prior to adding the eggs, works well. The (rather cheap...not expected to last long) "brush" is used to spread the lubricant easily, and the eggs do not stick at all. Once the brush is "wet" for the first cup, it lasts to coat the second, too. I haven't tried more than two at the same time, so I'm not sure if that could continue to a third and fourth cup. I've not tried any cooking method other than stove top, so cannot comment on microwave or etc. Also have not yet put them in a d/w; but hand washing with hot, soapy water is easy.I do not like loose yolks, so even though "poached" implies such state, I cook mine longer, till the entire egg is firmed. I accomplish that by setting the cups (same as previous "non-stick" ones) to simmer with the cover on for approx 8-10 min. for large or xlarge eggs. Being able to see through the colorless glass cover helps me monitor this. Sometimes, I even leave them setting, after turning off the heat, while I ready other items or take meds, etc. Since these cups taper, the outer edges do cook a bit more than the center, but I've not had any issue with overcooking or taste changes. As I don't like loose yolks and prefer scrambled eggs to "fried" ones (whether sunny side up OR over), preferring no separation of white and yolk, I might try to experiment, also, with scrambling an egg prior to placing it in the cup.So happy -- so far! - to have found a better replacement for what I used to have. Therefore, though wishing for a more promising-looking brush, I do recommend this product.

Perfect for my Air Fryer
I have an “Instant 4-in-1, 2-QT Mini Air Fryer Oven Combo” that I use daily. I purchased these silicone cups to cook sunny side up eggs — and they are perfect!I always grease the cups before each use. I use a spray-on oil and spread it up sides prior to putting in the eggs. I do not add water. The cups wash easily.Six minutes at 375F and I have perfectly cooked eggs with runny yolks.(You need to experiment to find the time that works for you as each air fryer is a bit different)I purchased hot plate tongs (two for under $8) and they are great for removing the egg cups from the air fryer as the silicone gets very hot. The gripper tongs make removing the cups easy, especially compared to mitts or pot holders, and they grip securely.
