Should have been ideal
I bought this lath as it is small L deal for my model train layouts but when plugged in first use it shorted out blowing the circuit board rendering it useless and unusable I would not recommend buying waste of money and time unpacking look for a dearer one it is worth it in the end

nothing wrong with the lathe but I never got the chisels, chuck key, the screw center or any of the other bits and pieces shown in the package.

What I didn't like so much about my first use of this lathe, was the exploding power control unit.
