I have always wanted a Tibetan Singing bowl, but they are always soo expensive. I found this "beginner" bowl for a very reasonable price and it even came with a surprise...a pillow for storage and for practice! This bowl is a bit smaller than I'm used too and thicker in metal, thus the practice will make perfect ... hitting at just the right angle and keeping the wrist light around the bowl is challenging for a metal as thick as this...but that's what makes it so special is the sound. Each bowl is unique in its own right by the dimples and divets in the way it was made, but also in the thickness of metal. This bowl has deep resonate sounds.

Very cool little bowl. We are novice users and were able to make it sing beautifully on the first try. Everything looked to be good quality, especially for the price. Would definitely buy again.

This Himalayan singing bowl is tiny but surprisingly loud! I was really impressed with how strong and clear the sound is for its size. I found that it works best on a stone surface, my stone countertop gave the best resonance. I also tried it on carpet and on the little cushion it came with, but the sound wasn’t as strong there. It also worked well on my wood floors, especially when I used a kitchen towel underneath as a buffer (same for the stone countertop). Overall, great sound for such a small bowl and really fun to use.

This is my first sound bowl and it’s decent for the price. It’s pretty small but I like the size of it. It’s straightforward to use but one thing to note is that the wand sticks to sides sometimes and makes a dragging sound, I haven’t been able to find a way around it. It’s pretty and makes a good gift but definitely not the best sound bowl.
