Has worked well in each application in which it was installed -- primarily 2:1, 9:1 voltage baluns. I haven't tested it in choke applications. I will reorder when my inventory reaches zero.

Looks like quality product. Built well and craftmanship is consistent in all pieces. Unfortunately, I do not have test equipment to determine how well they work.

I was having issues with speakers popping when my amp turned on and thought I'd give these a try. My wire is flat, but is 14 AWG copper. A couple of the magnets broke when I coupled them to the wires. If you have 16 AWG wire, this may be a good solution. Easy enough to snap on and remove.

Even a guy like me with just rudimentary electronics skills understands that if this product doesn't work, YOU ARE LOOKING IN THE WRONG PLACE. I installed the chokes as shown in a YouTube video and...there was no effect on the hum. Ohhhhkay, since these are simply magnets THAT WORK AS DESIGNED 100% of the time, the problem must be somewhere else. Like maybe the problem is the user?As usual, I neglected to ground the turntable and the receiver. I wanted a perfect ground so I hammered a new copper earthing rod into the bed right next to an easy spot to drill through the outdoor stucco.Once properly grounded, the HUM WENT AWAY. I now have a song in my heart and just amaze myself with the comments from many of these reviews. Oh, it MUST be the chokes, it couldn't POSSIBLY be me. But a very good purchase all-round and I've got so much RF in the house (bluetooth, cell phones, remotes, etc.) that I've installed these on all the speaker wires. These toroids arrived promptly and were undamaged and as described. The size is good for thin coaxial cable and unterminated power lines. These did the trick to eliminate common mode current back into my transciever from a longwire on a 9:1 balun. I also have an air wound choke on the line which lowers, but does not stop common mode current, and which only reduces noice on part of the spectrum. The addition of this toroid to the feedline stopped the CMC and quieted down noise accross the spectrum.If you are looking for a toroid to use on 110ac wires with standard or grounded plugs you will need a larger size, these would be perfect for DC lines from your power supply.I am unsure of the mix, but will attemp to build a few baluns/ununs in the future and see how they perform. This is a great price and they are good toroids.
