Gorgeous book on all levels
I found this book at the library when I was looking for cookbooks for my husband, who has swallowing difficulties and needs pureed food. I love it so much that I bought one for myself and now for a niece who just had a baby. The book is visually beautiful. The recipes are scrumptious. And I love how it makes it easy to learn the spices and herbs used in different countries. I also love that it has a chart related to that. The book has lifted my spirits during a time when the task of changing our eating and cooking habits was depressing.Thank you for this inspiring book!

Great gift and used it with our baby!
We loved this book especially how international and diverse the recipes are. My husband is half Indian and half white and I am half middle eastern and half white and it was important to us to share a variety of flavors and tastes to our little one as early as we could (obviously without the spicy factor). This book was great and equally adaptable to feed adults and little humans! We got this as a gift for friends with littles as well.

Great book, beautiful gift
I love this book so much I've bought it twice as gifts for new mama's with babies! After rave reviews from the first one, I bought it again. It really is such a beautiful, well thought out, lovely little book.

Great book for world foods; great shipping.
5 stars, perfect condition book, arrived on the timeline projected.I originally owned this book on Kindle and referred to it for so many ideas that I wanted to additionally buy a paper copy. Easily one of my top 3 baby food recipe books!

which is like a stew with tomatoes
This book introduces you to a wide variety of more 'unusual' foods for your baby. Some of these require ingredients I would not go out of my way to buy (cornmeal, cassava) and so will probably never get made, but I have a very extensive collection of spices so that has yet to be a problem. One thing I would prefer this book to have is maybe a page dedicated to spices that go well with various vegetables and fruits. For instance, let's say I have some greenbeans. The recipe provided is fasolia, which is like a stew with tomatoes. Great, but I'm not going to be making that everyday... what spices can I add to just straight up green beans when I have limited time but don't want things to be boring? So on the whole this book inspires ideas and is great for when you have the time.I'd also express caution with some recipes. Most of these say 6 plus month but some of them ask for 'water or milk'... be sure to use water or formula/breast milk, I'm not sure milk is appropriate for babies. Other types of dairy are though later on.

The book is beautifully designed and written
I bought it as a gift for a new mom, but I'm keeping this one and buying her another copy. The book is beautifully designed and written, and a lot of the recipes make fantastic sauces and purees for grown-ups too. In fact, I think it's a good day for the strawberry basil puree over ice cream.

This book was perfect it was easy to follow and we actually just ...
Very excited to get this book, my husband and I are both adventurous eaters and travelers but weren't sure how to introduce different flavors (outside of our cultures) to our son. This book was perfect it was easy to follow and we actually just made bigger batches for ourselves. So far my son has had curry, garlic, turmeric and basil. Around the World in 80 Purees: Easy Recipes for Global Baby Food I will be buying it for friends as they have kids.

Yummy baby food
I love this book and so does my baby! No bland banana purées here. My baby loved the minced melon, lemongrass chicken, tomato potato purée, and many more! Spices are actually used! I actually like the food I’m making her!

Great, goes beyond purees
Unlike the title suggests more than just purees are covered. In some cases you can skip the pureeing and they can be enjoyed by older babies (and adults). Simple and a great way to expand my little one's taste buds. We are a spice friendly household so this is a great way to prepare for the future. Great deal. Bought it with Little Foodie (Olivier) and find they complement eachother with little to no overlap.
